Do you leave your GT5 disc in your ps3?

I've been leaving my BRD in my PS3 since i got my GT5. Some people said that it's bad to leave it in there because it'll wear off.

So exactly what are you saying will wear out? The drive or the disc? I'd say the drive will die first but I don't know

I leave GT5 in all the time. I don't really play any other games so it makes sense to leave it in.

I bought the special silver "gran turismo edition" psp package back in the day . . . I don't consider myself to own a psp, I own gt portable.

same goes for gt5. I don't have ps3:
in my living room, "the gran turismo box" is plugged into the TV

Yes I do leave the disc in my PS3, but only because I have moved to a new house that needs lots of work doing to it and all of my other games are still boxed up.

Not long now until Assassin's Creed comes out, GT5 will be banished from my machine then. Once I'm finished with the single and multiplayer of Assassins Creed, Unchartered and Battlefield then I might play GT5 again.

I certainly don't. After my PS3 died with the GT5 disk stuck inside, I had to use a special method to get it out.

I bought my PS3 as part of a GT5 pack from Amazon, and it was bought purely for GT5 :-) I don't think my PS3 would survive without its beating heart that it Gran Turismo pumping testosterone, and adrenaline through its system hehe

The disc in my dfgt equipped rig never comes out, my second copy of GT occasionally makes a bid for freedom out of the other PS3 when we watch a film or Mrs T plays something other than GT but to be honest I only really invested in a PS3 for the gran turismo series.

The disc in my wheel set up will only see sunlight when GT6 arrives.
