The car trading limit was introduced because people were trying to find ways around the broken economy in GT5. It's a fix for a problem that was created by PD in the first place. But instead of fixing the economy, they simply added another problem. So instead of just a broken economy system, we are now left with a broken economy and a trading limit.

They also completely negated the use of the limit with the current seasonal events, since they pay out so much anyone can get a 20 mil car in a few hours. Making the whole trading limit even more pointless.

I haven't done much trading anyway, but since you can't sell the large majority of the cars back to the dealer anyhow, if you have pricey cars you don't like or use, then being able to trade them or even give them away would make more sense.

Also, the one trade a day seems to get people perpetually tied up - I've known trades get scheduled for two weeks away - you've forgotten what you were doing by then.

So yes, remove the limit and allow more trades a day.

It should be increased although there should still be a limit, i'd love to say i don't like the 1 trade a day feature however i can understand why thats the limit but i can't, i really can't see why anyone would think 1 car a day is reasonable or a good idea.

Indeed i once forgot about a R8 LMP car two weeks after we (the trader and i) made the deal.:dunce:

Do you like the 1 car a day trading limit or would you like to be able to trade more cars a day?

First, I'd like to point out that it isn't a trading limit. You don't trade anything. You send me a car, and that's it. I may give you something back and I may not. Either way, you gifted the car, rather than trading it. If you mail me a package and then I mail you one in return, we sent gifts to each other, which is different from a trade wherewith we would exchange items, one for the other, in a single transaction. Having got that out of the way....

I'd like them to overhaul the whole gifting system altogether. Unfortunately, every idea that comes to mind would still suffer from cheating problems due to the whole backing up saves thing. Even with something like an online auction house, which works great for Forza, with GT5 people could still simply restore saves from before an auction took place.

I do not like the trade limit, it makes it even harder to acquire every thing in the game. I have every car, ticket, paint, horn, museum card, and gear in the game. My next quest is to collect all the cars in all the colors with 0 miles and 0 switches. The limit is very tiring as I have two solid months of cars and tickets booked for trades. I only have 1 PS3 and it is difficult compared to some of the traders that have 2 or 3 PS3's.If two people agree to gift each other something then technically it is a trade. If you don't uphold your end of the bargain then it can hurt your reputation as a trader. Backing up your saves is the only smart way to trade and exponentially acquire everything in the game.

That is justification to remove the limit. If it's meant to last long, don't including frustrating, illogical, and unneeded features like the limit.

I hope that you are not unable to enjoy things for a long period of time. It would be upsetting for me to need to have a slow trickle of content to be able to make the game last long. I'd much rather be able to enjoy something based on quality rather than how it is presented to me.

There is nothing wrong with having the X1 as your first car. Though you would have the same problem as you do now. There would be 999 other cars to get. A bit of a waste of time.

And easy? How would the game be made easier? How is it even hard in the first place. I race online. Whatever's in my garage has no impact on difficulty. Offline is a boring chore, and difficult is not a valid adjective to describe it. Time consuming and uninteresting suit it well, IMO. I'd rather not deal with that and just enjoy the game. The limit is one of the things getting in the way of that.

Just got the x1.... With hard work. Glad I didn't get it from someone like you.

It wouldn't be an issue with a true trade system instead of a gift system. Of course, you can still backup to before the trade and get your original car back, but you will also have lost the car you got in the trade.

Personally, I don't mind people duping, it doesn't affect me in any way. And by now, most people have most cars they want anyway. And with current seasonal events, getting the real expensive ones is easy.
