I mildly like the way it moves. I kinda like the way it goes. I think it looks bad and the only reason people say they like it seems to be because it's a 'cult' car.

But what makes up for it is winding those people up who love screaming at you like you've just insulted Mother Teresa!

So there it is black bonnet, black wheels, pop up headlights and awkward body... :(

And here it is. Another thread to 'have a go'!!! :D hehehe... 😈
 
I really dont like it, its true it actually does handle good but just cant get passed the outside. I wouldnt be caught dead in one./
 
to be perfectly honest, I really couldn't care less about the Trueno/ Levin- I (like AxleTramp and DangerPowers, amongst others) just find it really REALLY amusing how upset people get at me dissing it. In the game I win one and sell it- simple. I can understand why people like them for their handling, much the same way as people raved about old Fords like the 2.8i Capri or the RS2000 Escort (so long as there was a bag of cement in the boot/trunk) but seriously- chill out. IT'S A GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

There's a Capri 2.8i in the game?! :drool: Where, where, where!!! Aah come on tell me! Can you full race mod it, you know - fluffy dice, black plastic window louvres, mud flaps with reflectors, 12ft CB aerial (plus flag), greyhound bonnet mascots (at least 3), six rubber bump strips on each door, third party boot spoiler that's sagged in the middle, warped hub caps held on with pull-ties (alloys nicked years ago), black bonnet, baby turbo door mirrors (just a slightly different shade to the bodywork), bright red Peko exhaust (just the tailbox), rust, rear lights that flash in unison really weakly when you signal, LED brake light on the parcel shelf that says 'BRAKE' when you... err... brake, traffic light air freshener and an over plump, blotchy girlfriend in a tight mini dress, who likes chips (and gets referred to as 'Me knacker' in conversation)!

That looks suspiciously like a 2.0S not a 2.8i! :( A bit like getting the normal Trueno not the Shigeno version. :D

Hey that thing kicks cooley! I mean for the price compared to other cars it is more than worth it! It doesn't look all that pretty, but it gets the job done, and you could get the miata and do a lot worse.
 
The Trueno was my first car, and I after a while I had to admit that I really grew into liking that ugly heap of .... The handling is OK, and You don't have to look at it if You use the in-car wiew..

I think it's a good "first car" - But I sold it to buy an Evo XXVIII (or something like that) and I don't really miss it..

You should never buy an Evo,in GT3 they breed like rabbits and pretty soon you'll have a garage full of them. :eek: :bunny:

very, very long weekend!! ...best not to ask really... ;)

No new pics today, but on my way into work I did see a metallic blue MK1 Capri with a black bonnet - I do hope it's not an omen!!! :nervous:
 
well..... round the corner from my house is a dealership that has just taken delivery of about 30 Yaris' -all with WHITE bonnets! :eek: (and NO- the cars are not all white :rolleyes: )

is this some kind of conspiracy??? ;)
