Especially missing the RX-7. For me the best street car in the past two GTs.
I also wish PD add more older racingcars in the future. Making replicas of all the retro liveries with the editor should be fun.
Those were some of my favourite cars in GT5/6. I suspect or hope PD will be releasing them in a pack of "vintage" JDM cars, hopefully with some good BoP so they can be raced together. I actually made a semi-serious offer on an RX-8 the other day that was sitting in a customer's driveway but she wasn't interested in sellingDo you miss S2000, Rx8, 370z, Rx7 ?
Not the quickest, but very balanced, handling wise.I never played any of the modern GTs ie GT5,6&Sport I stopped at GT4. When you say the RX-7 was one of the best street cars in the last two GTs do you mean that it was one of the quickest overall? I know they were good cars in the first 4 GTs.. especially in GT4 they rocked.
Oh really? When I used to use them in GT4 with the G25 steering setup my Spirit R Type A RX-7 would perform better in some cases and worse in some cases but overall equal to the Skyline R34 V Spec II NUR. However the RX7 in the last 2 GTs does have to compete with the liked of the new GTRs, NSX, etc making it hard to be one of the fastest JDMs.Not the quickest, but very balanced, handling wise.
I've missed the midgetYou kidding? Of course I do! I even miss the Skyline, NSX, Integra, Civic, GTO, 3000GT, retro Impreza and Evo, hell, pretty much all the JDM cars from past GTs had, including the Kei cars.![]()
Ugh, me too!I've missed the midget![]()
I think a GT6->PS4 port would've made sense during the off time between its original release and GTS. There were 4 years in between, a PS4 port at 2 would've been perfect. PD wouldn't do it because they didn't want to detract any sales potential from GTS. Will never happen now.Sounds like a lot of people just want a gt6 remastered to PS4 specs instead of a new game. I do know I felt I had to do a lot more grinding to get cars and credits back then and I do not miss that at all. I for the most part like the new concept and would rather go forward than backward.
They could have created a new high-quality "premium" mesh for them.In a sense, yes I miss them. I miss the variety of the cars we had access to, but at the same time, having the 1000+ car list with PS2 quality cars on PS4 would've been unacceptable to me. Therefore I respect what PD has done, because the quality of the cars in game is fantastic. Classic case of quality over quantity.
That's when PDI could do what most other companies do and model from photographs and video. Sure, there might be minor inaccuracies, but even when PDI "laser scanned" the premium versions in 5/6 they still had inaccuracies.I don't think we'll ever have all the cars we did in GT5/6. One thing I tend to be curious of is how many of those cars we had are still readily available and possible for PD to obtain and model from scratch? Obviously there are handfuls of Skyline, RX7s, Supras and the like, but even the variety among those models themselves. As they age it only makes sense less will be around and at a certain point may not be possible for PD to obtain a proper example to model.
I should be more specific, I don't want ANY division between the cars. The quality between all should be equal or therein. They could have created a new high-quality "premium" mesh for them.
