The game is amazing but does the game look like in this screen to you? It really doesn't to me, I can't the see the numbers at all. Maybe it's just my TV that sucks, don't know.

What I'd like to see is a full HD1080 (1920×1080 resolution) ingame video of a race. Not a replay, but a recording while racing.

Would help when it comes to "does it really look this good"-questions that i seem to get every now and then.
I got no idea if it looks that good or not though I'm afraid, mdz21.

jo,have bought a lcd 42inch full hd etc etc etc....i can tell you its FANTASTIC!!!!...even when i put gt4 on i can finaly see the "little" numbers!!!...dude this tv has cost me half my money:sly:but its absolutely worth it!!!.....so,the answer to your q is:yes its must unfortunately be your tv...:sly:

I think some cars have higher quality interior textures (ie speedometer and tachometer), in some cars I can barely distinguish the numbers, they look blurry, washed out, while in others they look sharp and clear, my TV is not a high end one, is an average 26" HD Ready Phillips.

Completely Agree, Althought I dont imagine anything looking BAD at 1080p.

Yes it does look Incredibly crisp in 1080P. However, this image looks like there is some post-processing going on. I believe it is from a replay (30 fps).

Cockpit view is always rendered at 60fps, even in replays.

But I've seen this very same image in other site at 1920x1080, so it must be one of those highly-post-processed blinding-HDR jaggies-free press images.

That picture looks like the 599 which has some kind of bug with the interior view, it looks like the game loads the wrong LOD, so the rev counter looks like crap. And just in case anyone was wondering, I have a 1080p 24" display.

any chance you might have a link to this site that has this image at 1920x1080? would be great as my wallpaper :)

They don't look that good in game.

They're just promo shots (but they do look very much like the speculated photo mode)

1080p doesn't get any better at the present, but if your sets analog your gonna get a less then prefect pic

I bought a 42" Plasma just so I could play GT5 when released in 09

do you still have the link to the original uncropped 1920x1080 version? thanks in advance.

I have a Bravia 40w3000 fullhd, and I also agree with you, the gauges in some cars are better than others and more detailed.

The image was "watermarked" by QJ, so it is useless as a wallpaper.

Here you have it anyway.

Yeah, I started to check every car I own and I find some interiors less detailed, like the M3's interior, It looks totally whashed out, you can barely see a thing, while both Ferraris have higher res gauges.

I think the same applies to the car's modeling, some cars have plastic look, while others look life-like.

my game runs at 1080p on a 55 inch.. looks great.. some line are jaggy but its ok , everything looks really really good, but some cars have better resolution for the gauges and some dont... i guess they have to sacrifice few stuff here and there so that the game will run you smooth with 16 cars on the same track... I guess once in GT5 there will be a photo mode, once you take a pic everything will smooth out and become more sharp :) just like in GT4
