I'm perfectly fine with this. As long as I can drive with cockpit view I'll be happy. And who knows, maybe we will get DLC updates that add detailed interiors and such.This is what I received in an email from the author of the Kotaku article:
"The premium cars have that specific cars interiors. The standard cars have a car's interior, but not specific per se. For example, the Enzo has the Enzo's interior. However, the Mustang probably just has an interior."

why so angry we will have cockpit view just some interiors will look better than others this is the same case for FM3 and i still only use cockpit view we will be fine man. Dont worry be happy 👍
The in game models in FM3 are not that far off of GT5's it is just that the lighting and extra details(small touches) that make everything better in GT5.
FM3's Photo mode cars models greatly exceed GT5 cars in detail, like almost perfect edges on everything, have you seen the tires close up.
GT5 cars do not come any where near those cars in terms of resources/details, 1 FM3 photo mode car probably equals 2 or 3 of GT5 cars.
The only thing GT5 may have over them is textures and accuracy, the end.
What I mean is that if they can model all those cars at detail levels above GT5 in 2 years why would PD not be able too in twice the time.

If FM3 can model 400+ cars with cockpits in 2 years, there is no reason whatsoever that PD cannot in 5 years period. No excuse after all this time, no excuse.

Uhm... Forza 3 interiors are rather shoddy for the most part. And it's been pointed out a few times that FM3 cars have on average, half the polys that a GT5 car has. Actually, that's 400 cars in four years. FM 2 and 3 have been in development for four years total, and FM3 uses FM2 assets.I am only talking about car models and nothing else.

Bad troll is badThe photo mode cars, not the in game models. The ones they tricked their fanbase into believing they were in game months before the demo.
Take a pic of a car in FM3 and see the difference. GT's cars are not that perfect in terms of polygons.
They did the cockpits in 2 years, their photo mode car interiors are certainly good enough and better than none.
What does troll pertain too,You and I have waited 5 years for this game it is not unreasonable to expect a cockpit on every car when the competition can do it.
I have never anticipated a game more than GT5, never.
I just want every car in the game to have a quality cockpit view, no need for engine/suspension details.
As soon as they can confirm that they do, I plan to pre-order the collector's edition. I do not want to buy other systems beside the ps3 to supplement something that was expected to be there in the first place.
GT5p cars had those details so why after 3 years are we possibly finding out that most of the cars in GT5 do not.
It should not have to take 5 years for that it should not have. Those GT5 models/physics bale everything out for me, I can easily forgo most of the problems in GT if there intact. The problem is that physics alone is not good enough after all this time.
