Do you suspect the 600+ cars will have interior?

That Motortrend article said premiums have the smallest details/undersides. Was there any cars in GT5p where the under part of the body was thought to be modeled?

They also say wiring and such, very few if any cars in GT5p had that. If they have so few premiums why do they keep showing them instead of the standard cars.
Why spoil 75% of the premium cars years in advance.

There is no logical explanation to that. Doing that only shows that all the cars are super detailed outside of the engine details/better damage, not just the premium cars.

We would have seen at least one "standard" car without a cockpit, in almost 4 years we have not seen one. All the signs and logic point to all the cars having one. :sly:

As in the previous game, you'll have loads of professional camera settings to play around with, but if you find that stuff a little daunting, you'll also have the option to more or less point and click as if you're using an automatic camera. Incidentally, it will be possible to take photos from inside car cockpits, though it's not clear whether this feature will be available in standard as well as premium models

it doesnt say anything about standard models not having cockpit view

That's interesting but if they know all cars have cockpits/interiors why would they question whether or not you can take photos from inside? It wouldn't be an issue at all, you would just assume that you can if every car had an interior if you know what I mean

Because the standard car interiors are just that- standard. Probably nothing special that you would want to take pictures of.

I thought it was already confirmed that ALL cars have interior and cockpit view, the 200 premium cars which have been mention have interior damage aswell as extenstive exterior damage, and can roll over, where as these 800 other cars, will have interiors, with no damage, and minmal exterior damage. ALL cars will have mechanical damage. Anyone who is confused about weather, there is variable weather types, whether dynamic or selectable, but it looks like day/night cycle is dynamic.

Hope that helps anyone :)

One thing that comes to mind is all the cars having blacked out windows. I seriously doubt when in photo mode we will see this old feature from previous games. That would be a major step backwards.

That press release said that the real type of damage was on select cars, but did not say that in regards to the head tracking.

If some cars had cockpits and others did not wouldn't they say that head tracking is for select cars also. Has anyone seen them use head tracking in any other views besides the cockpit?

Exactly. There has been nothing to contradict the fact all cars will have cockpit view. It's just some people are being pedantic and pessimistic about the word 'interior'.

But I'll get pedantic even more, the premium cars are stated to have highly detailed and accurate interiors. It implies that Standard cars have a basic interior view, rather than a realistically modelled one. At least in relation to the cockpit.

I am pretty sure this means all cars have a dashboard and steering wheel and some seats for the driver etc.

Premium cars will have the entire interior carefully detailed and accurate, I would expect standard cars more likely will have somewhat generic interiors, maybe just "some seats" instead of accurately shaped and textured seats and the wheel and dash area may not be completely accurate to the car. It may be more like they have a few dozen dashboard configurations and they spread them between the standard cars while the premium ones get exactly what the real one looks like.

I am pretty sure all cars will have a cockpit view, however I wouldn't be entirely surprised if the view for standard cars doesn't accurately represent guage clusters and layout or material.

Pretty much my thoughts on the subject. The standard cars will have generic interiors, loosely based on the actual one, but to nowhere near the same level of detail as the premium cars. Kind of like 95% of the cars in Forza 3.
