You really are eating your own words, don't you?

Don't you have to get back to trolling people on YouTube anon? I noticed you had no input whatsoever on this thread other than being condescendingly vague...

Man! I told you NOT to fall into your own pit!

As opposed to you being plain condescending?

Well, I already made known my view on the subject. I don't think I need to elaborate further, I'm just watching this mess.

Can you explain this please?

Using chase cam gives you an unrealistic view of the course along with an unrealistic feel of the car and if you were to take what you learn and try to implement it into real life you couldn't take as much from it as opposed to using cockpit view.

Yep. At least it's honest. :)

I personally prefer cockpit view, but I find chase cam perfectly usable, if a little disorienting. It's bumper cam that gives me motion sickness.
Just so you know, cockpit is the same as bumper, just with a cockpit overlay. Would you mind telling me what it is about bumper cam that you don't like?

I'm just not big on the chase view since GT4. It seems, I donno, a little stiff. More accurate, yeah, but it looks weird seeing the camera rotate using the car as a pivot point. Anyone know what I mean?

Just trying to bring things back on-topic.

That means nothing.

I use the hood cam just because the interior wheel doesn't move beyond 180 degrees...

So? What's wrong with that?
What is it about other people's harmless opinion that makes you all flared up and condescending?
Why do you care about the method other people drive in such a way that you start dismissing them and their opinion?

You asked for opinion, you got it. Now handle it like a rational, mature human being. Courtesy is a thing here at GTPlanet.

Yeah that's pretty much the reason why I don't use the interior view. It just doesn't seem natural. I actually prefer the standard cars' interior view. I use the G27 so yeah.

HERESY!

maybe I'm posting in this thread a little too much :(

I don't understand these threads. I mean its quite obvious the person who started it uses the in car view and doesn't
hold anyone who uses chase cam in any sort of regard. But to be bothered to start a thread about it?
Does that mean because I don't really like the Toyota Prius I should start a thread saying anyone who has one in their garage is a noob?
It would be a boring old world if we all liked the same thing. FYI, I use a chase with the DS3 and in-car view with the wheel.

So your goal in playing a video game is to translate it into real life driving? Good luck with that. Nothing any sim game can do for you will ever be worth rl experience.

As far as success in gaming is concerned, using the view that works best for someone is always their best bet. Some of us have changed over time the view, be it for speed advantage or more enjoyment of the GAME.

I don't think that was the original point of this thread. .-.

The OP just asked if the chase cam made him look like a noob. NOT saying that anyone using it is a noob.

You're welcome.

And then it turned into "chase cam is stupid" for the OP. I think this thread escaped from the jail of Reddit or something.

Hahaha wow. Are you even reading this thread? Somebody's dwelling too much on the thread title...go back and read what paintshop said. It had nothing to do with what I said and he admitted to misinterpreting me because of the language barrier.

I stopped responding to unknown for obvious reasons.

The only people I even responded to were ones getting offended or assuming things.

Anyway, what does the OP think of chase vs. bumper cam?

For showing everyone how dull you are?

You're welcome. :)

Hahaha dull? C'mon little boy you know you don't have any opinions of your own...

Everything you've said so far is dull. No interest or depth. Shallow interpretation without background info to back it.
