I agree. You shouldn't be able to use them in almost every race. It's so easy to win with them. I liked the horsepower restrictions they had in some races in GT2. That was a good idea and I would like to see it in GT4.

There is an F1 car from the late 70's or early 80's which had a BMW 4 cylinder 1.5L Turbo engine producing 1200 HP. I want to see THAT F1 in GT4!!!

i liked most of the F1 in GT3. Senna's immortal F1 machines.

i would like to see some older ferrari F1 machines, even if they were not the most successful in their time.

i agree with T13R. i heard about that before, but dont know exactly which F1 machine that is.

not too many. i rarely drive the F1 cars. they're fast as hell but they get boring fast.

the car you are thinking of is the Brabham bt52 it was powered by bmw and had a turbo but was only about 700 to 800 hp.
The best turbo cars were the williams honda Fw 11 in race trim it would have about 900 + hp for relability. but in qualifinig they could up the turbo boost to give well over 1100 hp. Also during the race the drivers could up the boost in car if they wanted to catch or pass some one quicker.

Sure. Why not? They were fun in GT3, but I think they should have more F1 car races though.

driving the F1 takes more skill than meets the eye. unfortunately the AI in GT3 makes F1 competition too easy, especially when using the F094 cars. but when racing for fastest time or racing among friends, F1 is really the pinnacle of racing IMO and far from boring.

james, you're right, but the 700 to 800 hp i believe is just race trim. i could be wrong.

the coolest car i think is the McLaren-Ford MP4/8. senna drove the amazing donington race with this machine. gotta love that sonic trophy .

I'd like to see the Eagle car that Dan Gurney drove in the late '60's.
Some of Colin Chapman's Lotus cars from the same era would be neat.
Of course, if there were that many Formula cars, there would have to be divisions by years/displacement/HP to keep the races from being too one sided. You can't, in good conscience, race an F090 against F1's from the 60's and 70's.

I love the F1 cars to death, but they shouldn't be so accessable from the start. I mean you can get a F1 car the second you have 1,000,000 or win the Rally Races. You win an Escudo and take it to Super Speedway Endurance. Then you have a F090/s which can pretty much finish 70% of the game easily.

i do hope they have a lot more f1 cars maybe 20 or 30 but from different time peods like the 50s 60s 70s 80s 90s and today showing how the f1 car has evolved througth time and you get drive them to see the differences.

f1 cars are the best cars and the pinical of motosport so should have there place in gt4. Just look at some of these cars they are amazing. most of the cars from 1950 to 2003 pics and info

but they are so good imagine driving a 1950s grandprix car or one of the 1st ground effect cars with sliding skirts or a 1100hp turbo monster it would be great and the best thing about the new game.

they are very nice cars i think they would have to include more old fahioned courses for older cars. But i hope they have cars from all the decades especily 1970s and 1980s
