Why do those cars look the same? I haven't got the time to ask that question so I'll ask now.
Though I think there wasn't a VR-4 (4WD) version of the Stealth... I might be wrong, though.
I believe there was an AWD Stealth...almost 300 hp in an FWD car nearly 20 years ago is a little ridiculous.
Wasn't there also a Lancer that was released that looked like the Dodge Spirit/Plymouth Sundance? I'm pretty sure I see one around town, although I'm drawing a blank on whether it was a Mitsubishi or Chyrsler.
And yeah, the Dodge Stealth R/T had the TT with AWD option. I believe I have seen the R/T without the AWD, although I could be wrong.
I thought the "default" version was RWD
seriously FWD? The 3000GT too? All my life I thought they were at least RWDs![]()

The Dodge Stealth came with 3 engines between 1994-1996.I believe there was an AWD Stealth...almost 300 hp in an FWD car nearly 20 years ago is a little ridiculous.
And lets not forget the Stealth is fugly. And just because you have a base model or SL 3000GT doesn't mean it is slow. The manual tranmission non VR4 models were quick, not fast but quick.
But, I'm glad I owned a VR4.Just wish I still had it.
SL? Maybe. But the base model Stealth and 3000GT are like the period Dodge Avenger plus (approximately) 1 million pounds. I'd be surprised if they could eclipse 10 seconds to 60.And lets not forget the Stealth is fugly. And just because you have a base model or SL 3000GT doesn't mean it is slow.
The 3000gt SL has 222hp and does 0-60mph in 8.5secs and does the 1/4mile in 16.4sec.For reference, a 1998 Integra Type R has 190hp and does 0-60 in 6.9 secs and the 1/4mi. in 14.9. I don't think most people on this board think 8.5sec to 60mph is quick or even 6.9secs if you want to keep it real.
