How can we do a more detailed report besides the basic one.. that is made with point and click mode... only???
Speaking of which, I report everyone who rams me and gets weird in a race. My logic is that I know these bad players are probably reporting everyone for absolutely nothing, so reporting disruptive players for actually being disruptive seems like an obligation.
Many people feel that the reporting does nothing, to which I say, fine then I'm doing nothing. It's much better to vent via a report button rather than engaging in a grudge match during the race and tanking your SR even further.
I'd hope that their report system looks for reoccurring reports in conjunction with SR dips in individual races but at this point, who knows.
I do pretty much the same.. problem is sometimes we get rammed in a way that we have no chance to recognize the offender...
How do i stop someone on gt sport who keeps reporting me for nothing, I don't swear or write anything horrible in the comments bar nor do I have any rude or naughty car liveries, he has aslo reported my sons psn account that has now been permanently banned, I'm getting fed up with being reported for nothing
You message shows off a lot of... strange things. that led me to .. not believe in it...
1st and most important: When you are reported, you don´t know you have been reported unless Sony´s Information System contacts you... additionally the identity from the "reporter" will not be given to you... (I´m pretty sure of that...)
2nd: The chances to find the same racer on and on (as only if the racer is in same race he may report you) are not many.... and the chances of the racer finding you both is even less (let´s pretend that you have a chance 1/1.000 to find repetitively a guy... for 2 guys to find him repeatedly the chances are: 1/1.000 x 1/1.000 = 1/1.000.000 !!!!) So very strange indeed... Honestly the biggest chance is the contrary... that both you two are harassing the guy... acting like a team...
That is honestly what your message makes me feel... that and the doubt that your son´s account may have been being used by you... also...
A huge problem as I see it, coming from other competitive online games is that one are unable to report players who intentionally ruins your race by dive bombing etc.
Its a good thing we can report verbally abusive players but as i said we need to be able to report bad sportsmanship as well.
Rage quitted for my first time today when a player dive bombed me in the Brands Hatch Nations Cup race.
Qualified third but this pleb dive bombed me in the first hair pin causing me to loose a few positions, overtook him on the same lap just to have him do it to me again in the same corner the very next lap.
This players rating was BS (pun very much intended).
Taking into account that the SR rating system very easy to manipulate a manual report function for bad sportsmanship is highly urgent and tbh a serious competitive online game which ranks players skills which lacks but lacks such a function cant be really be considered competitive at all.
Such a function is present in almost all of the major games which are considered e-sports today.

Rage quitting affects your Dr and SR unfortunately. Depends on how far up the SR level you are. E.g. I had just hit SR S and I rage quit after getting knocked about and my DR and SR took a major hit. Couple of rage quits later I'd gone from DR A to Dr B and SR A to SR C.
According to my personal feeling....
I consider Rage Quitting an absolutely childish behavior, also a coward behavior, and absolutely an unsporting posture (for some reason on real sports if a team leaves the field it will be very heavily penalized)
So.. I consider that all RAGE Quitting should be HEAVILY PENALIZED!!! If you´re a Man take like a Man... until the end... only cowards and cry babies leave the field while the game is on!!!
