fwdtamiyaOttoman you are my hero
VietoriousYou know.. other cars has something like "V-TEC" too, but they call it different in every company ^^; I'm too lazy to look it up and post other "V-TEC" names. So you can check it for yourself.
IMO.. the Neon is better without putting any work to it, because its "American" =P
However the Civic looks sexier(the older model with the dash board on the passenger side where you can put your asian toys and furry animal) and easy swap.. maybe I just like how civic is a "Normal everyday car" with potential, like Motherboards ie. ASUS & ABIT
...and in GT3... I never got the spoon civic yet xD
AndertonNeons are for girls. Just like Volkswagon Cabrios and Beetles, and any yellow car, even a Ferrari.
neon_dukeYeah, OK, pal. Whatever. I've got about 2,000 friends - including SCCA National Champion road race drivers, Nats-level autocrossers, and people who drive 12-second Neons to work ever day, who will disagree with that sentiment.
advanRwhat is this supposed to prove me? its a spoon tuned b16b......... I already know that. my skepticism was based on my knowledge of the car through BM videos. a couple pictures of an engine won't make me believe the car is that special.
Limit Four-FiveHate to tell ya mate, but i gotta set some stuff straight. The motor from a Spoon Civic Type-R is not a tuned B16A. The motor is called a P72 as it has a different block with uprated valvesprings, pistons etc. Im not sure whether they use the same head (If Spoon do they would port and polish it thoroughly) on the P72. Also the motor doesnt rev to 16,000 RPM in real life and i dont think it does in the game either. In real life the Spoon only goes to 12,000 RPM.
But all in all the car goes hard.
GameBoyFXThe car revs to about 17,000 in the game if im not mistakein 💡
GameBoyFXya the spoon civic says it goes up to 18k but limit is about 17k
you should get the car b4 u say annything![]()
Limit Four-FiveI stand corrected then. Ive never heard of a B16B motor but. Asa far as i know and in every damn CTR ive ever seen i have only ever seen the B16A in CTR's and the B18C in ITR's but this B16B motor i have never heard of, would sound about right but if it was a destroked B18C (dont know why youd want to do this but) From what i read somewhere ages ago the P72 used to be one of Spoons motors but maybe it was a head. Best motor for a civic straight from honda IMHO is the B16A/B18C 'frankinstein' motor, as it has their better head on their better block. Or if you are in Australia I have heard of a company that used a Honda HR-V 3 litre block on a B16A head to create a 3 litre Frankinstein motor.
About the B18C being their best motor, IMHO i think that the H22A or the motor from the NSX-R (cant remember its name something like C32A or something) are their best. The ITR's B18C is just about perfect from the factory so there isnt a lot you can do in a bolt on sense when you get one.
Another awesome motor is Mugen's B18C 2.0ltr version. It goes hard. Expensive though.
that is trueGameBoyFXya the spoon civic says it goes up to 18k but limit is about 17k
