I was with a group that had a fun 1-lap team race on route X... 2 drivers per team, one in an x2010 pushing the other driver in a Kart. It was terrific fun... compared to the boredom I normally find on that track.
SlashfanYou can't have cars and karts on the track together.
That was a fun race, It was like a "sack race".
The way you do this is to get the karts on the track first, then unset the regulations to allow X1's.
Test speed runs and running in car engines. That's about it
About the 600mph claims that some people do not believe.
There is at least one or two rooms dedicated to hitting this speed, using a line of X2011's. Unfortunately those rooms have turned to garbage recently, so I will be hosting these again to raise the standard back to where it was. With just 5 or 6 people, speeds well in excess of 600mph/1000kmh can be achieved every single lap. With more players, the speed of sound should be in reach, but team work seems to fall apart far some reason in the current rooms, and we actually end up going slower.
The fastest current record I know of is 673mph. Here's a couple of short clips of someone getting very close to that speed.
Lewis_Hamilton_Here's a quick demo of how a Route X redbull room should be run. I chose km/h in the video as I managed to "break" the speedometer for nearly 7 seconds.
You can see how the system works. I fly out front and drag people with me to a higher top speed. Then, I hang back and let people past, in the meantime I alter my speed to make sure that I can connect the various groups of people making their way down the straight. Once I end up at the back, it's my turn to make it to the front of the pack and pull everyone along with me. It's a good system because everyone has to play their part, everyone helps the team, and everyone gets a shot at a top speed run. My actual speed in this run was 663mph (1068km/h)

Same here. 👍 I don't use it as a circuit to race on, nor do I use it.
I love using Route X. It just feels good to go full blast every now and again.
