Do you have plans to complete the bundle of Long Beach with a conversion of the 1982 track? This would make a good addition to the game.

My 2 cents: Move the DLSS somewhere else. Not interested at all. Why are y'all against having a separate place where you can discuss it ad nauseum? It's obviously a big enough topic to have it's own thread.

Rome was never in GT7 - but Kuwaku was making one in the vein of his Red Rock and Grindelwald:




Both of his projects are good - well made from a model perspective, but you can tell he's a modeler and not a racer. A few racing-level things (track mesh, timing, pit lane issues, etc.) don't work well. It's something he could have used help on.

Seems he's been MIA for about a year, unfortunately. Hopefully he finishes his Rome and gets some help to polish it.

Are there people here who are perfectly capable of doing a "rework" ? Like for example people who can provide a physics set, and engine sound just like how someone would rework a simdream mod?

I have other leftovers from "experiments" and "funsies" in my hard drive, but that were never remotely completed to be a full fledged mod. I can share these and someone pick it up and turn it into something fun

Hi friends,

Here is a new update 1.2 for DumbAI

change log is:

- added global teleportation block + controlled teleportation to pits management for stuck cars: teleportation to pits after 30 seconds continuously spent at less than 5 km/h without possibility to get back on track

- added Yellow Flag warnings completing the AC flag system: yellow flags added when AI spent more than 1 second on track at less than 5 km/h

- added messaging using native AC system to display 3 kind of events driven by DumbAI: AI that went to pits , track sector under Yellow Flag + driver concerned by the flag and Driver name that just retired


This last version should be better to use it without CSP AI new behavior checked although some functionnalities have been tested with it activated and it seemed to work .

Mate, I often rework physics with real data from some mods and cars I like, but I don't usually make them public. Sometimes it seems that the modding community doesn't like modding very much. So I keep for myself, using them personally, to avoid headaches. What’s your plans?

Last worked on in 2024 lmao. Oh well. Eventually they'll come out one way or another.

Why don't you guys litterally ask people for help? because the "semi-formal collaborative group of people with different skillsets" is litterally how I make my mods..... I didn't start modding expecting having guys doing textures and physics for me. You mention "including driver position/sizing/steering animation" I litterally did a guide that explains how to do driver animation in blender and helped people here on that matter? If you asked me I would have done one for your car

I was just checking a track on RaceDepartment, where the author said it contains bugs, but fixed versions will be available in Twitch streams.

I'm almost afraid to ask but.... is this... is this a new trend? Release a buggy version in RD and ask people to go somewhere else for the fixed versions?

Yes, and just give it an 1 star rating and move on. If they want their reputation to be tarnished because they want their ****** twitch stream to have 1 single extra viewer for 2 seconds then that's their fault lol
 
please help, Im using the Doran JE4 for the first time, mode from Assetto Garage and Velo, (it has csp wiper), but for some reason the suspension setup can not be fine, I change the suspensions parameters, even to highest; but the minimum height is not enough, and the car cannt be played, some suggestion?

Doing the same but mostly on tracks, deleting modern stuff on tracks that’s supposed to be very old, changing the tarmac, trying to activate static starting lights, mix different skins packs to one, extending the pit/starting grid, introducing new objects like bannerplanes or biplanes.
Next project trying to make the static ferris wheel turning and showing it’s lights.

after careful consideration i might work more on deez cars to make them just like the 1976 mod, but nothing more. Are you interested though in doing physics for this thing?

No, this list includes older versions, and the textures may have been slightly tweaked. In the video, we see many new objects and stands.
 
Soooo - I have found this imo extraordinary Ferrari 312t8 but in the pic you can see the issue (maybe there are others maybe experts will find them, meese is only referreing to the effed up, blurred GOODYEAR-Logo on tyres).That does not look grand and spoils da show, does it not. Well maybe some genius can take it on pls. I had added legend Regazzoni as driver already and have found out so far that them tyres are exactly the ones from Kunos 312T. I had thought it would be easy to "transplant" them to this car, but that does not seem to be possibly (for me). I am sure however many will enjoy this and most of all even more when it looks better. Credits to the modder of the car I have no idea where I found it! Merci a tous!
