In case you guys didn't know there is a WWE PPV tonight, its TLC and here is the card.

Kick-Off Show

---------------------------------------

Aleister Black v Buddy Murphy

Raw Tag Team Championship
The Viking Raiders (c) v ?????
(Viking Raiders open challenge)

Womens Tag Team Championship
The Kabuki Warriors (c) v Charlotte Flair & Becky Lynch

Tables Match
Rusev v Bobby Lashley

Smackdown Tag Team Championship-Ladder Match
New Day (c) v The Revival

Tables, Ladder, Chairs Match
Roman Reigns v King Baron Corbin

Bray Wyatt v The Miz

Its not a bad card I don't think, I don't know if ill watch it live though.

The match between Wyatt and Miz is not a Universal title match, not on WWE.com anyway, no pre-show match announced yet.

I'm interested in seeing what the turnout is like, they were pushing it really hard at the Monster Jam show last night (which took place about 1.5 miles from where TLC is taking place), which makes me think ticket sales are rather bad.

The pre-show match is Humberto Carillo v Andrade, no other news regarding the show.

Ouch...

Tonight continued the WWE tradition of putting 0 effort into their December PPV. At least the opening match was good.

Also, Cena’s PPV match streak has ended at 17 years.

The first two matches were brilliant but the rest of the show was average at best.

Kudos to the ladies for main eventing, that match was a bit of a mess mind, and I've read that Kairi Sane might be injured as she needed medical attention, the worst bits of news from the show though is the possibility of the Rusev/Lashley and Reigns/Corbin storylines continuing, why didn't the bring back the Usos to help out Roman? That would've been the perfect time to bring them back.

Hey, WrestleMania indy event weekend looks to be interesting this year.

I still have a bit left to watch on TLC, but the Black/Murphy match was my highlight so far.

Raw didn't tape for me last night so I couldn't watch it but it doesn't seem like I missed much, There was a Gauntlet number one contenders match for Rey's US title, I don't actually know who won but Seth Rollins made himself the number one contender by attacking Rey and stomping him, rendering the Gauntlet match pointless!

Becky had a sit down interview with Charly Caruso and basically called out Asuka, Asuka had a match with NXT's Deonna Purrazzo, Kairi Sane suffered a concussion at TLC and whilst she was on Raw she didn't have a match. Main event was Orton v Styles but predictably Gallows and Anderson got involved. Lana and Lashley are now engaged. END THIS STORYLINE ALREADY!!!!

They actually had two Raw shows last night because they pre-taped next weeks Raw, as next week is Christmas week so Raw will be on the 23rd.

Rhea Riley is the new NXT Women's champion after beating Shayna Baszler on NXT last night.

So the WWE schedule is the same this Christmas week, Raw still on tonight but it was taped immediately after last weeks live Raw, the matches tonight include Mysterio v Rollins for the US title, a six man tag between Viking Raiders and Randy Orton v The OC and Kevin Owens v Mojo Rawley in a No DQ match.

NXT this week falls on Christmas Day so because of that they taped three NXT matches after Smackdown on Friday, speaking of Smackdown I don't know if this weeks episode will be a regular live one, it should be as it falls in-between Christmas and New Year.

No idea what AEW are doing with Dynamite this week.

Small bit of WWE news, last night they had they're now annual Boxing Day show at Madison Square Garden and there was a title change.

Andrade beat Rey Mysterio to become new United States Champion, its his first title since moving to the main roster from NXT over a year ago, Andrade is of course a former NXT Champion.

Remember Lars Sullivan and his rather racist and homophobic comments pre-WWE signing coming to light earlier in the year? Some rather ironic finds have recently come to light, hint NSFW.

This is basically how i feel after the ending to RAW...

Haven't seen Raw but I heard that the wedding segment was a bit mad.

Basically like every other wrestling wedding. It ended in chaos.

Saw Raw, saw the closing segment, thought it went on far too long but no complaints from me apart from that, I know it didn't make much sense but at least it got people talking.

Andrade and Charlotte Flair are now engaged after Andrade popped the question last night, congrats to them both.

Pretty sure there is an NXT UK Takeover show on soon too, I don't know when but they have already announced four matches for it.

January really is the best month for pro-wrestling and it just seems to get better every year.

Pretty sure there is an NXT UK Takeover show on soon too, I don't know when but they have already announced four matches for it.

Smackdown was good last night, mostly because of four returning superstars.

Firstly Sheamus in ring return to Brogue Kick Shorty Gable, second John Morrison made his return but it was only a backstage thing and he was in Miz's locker-room, also The Usos finally returned following their much-talked about (and arguably much needed) break, they saved Roman Reigns after he was attacked 2 on 1 by Corbin and Ziggler.

How about the Otis and Mandy Rose story?

Some rather unpleasant accusations against indy wrestler Rory Gulak (yes related to Drew Gulak, brothers) are coming out.

From what I've gathered: At best he's a sex pest/creep, at worst (sole proof so far is a Tweet from a burner account) he's the dirt-worst.

The accusations apparently are coming from a Twitter account created just today. That's not to say they're not true, but I would certainly be cautious about spreading the claims until further (or in this case, some) evidence surfaces. In this era just the mere claim like that can ruin someone's life even if it's 100% false, so please keep that in mind.

Wrestle Kingdom 14 is in the books and my body is 1000% ready for Jon Moxley and Minoru Suzuki to murder each other. Also
NAITO TWO BELTS

Sneak edit: Presumably due to the Summer Olympics, the 2020 G1 Climax won't be held until the fall, final three dates are October 16/17/18.

WK14 was pretty much as excellent as one would expect.

I've also made the decision to follow NJPW beyond Wrestle Kingdom, granted I'm guessing most viewings won't be live.

Brock Lesnar back on Raw tonight, plus Andrade v Rey for the US title and a triple threat match for Raw tag titles, sounds like a decent show.

I mean, if you're really crazy then you can do it live.

Also, Lesnar is in the Rumble match, not defending the title, entrant #1. Last time the WWE Champion was in the Rumble not defending the title was back in 1990(?). (92 had the vacant title on the line, 2016 had the title defended, the ECW Championship doesn't count so we'll ignore 2008)

Also related to the Rory Gulak allegations:
