Does Anyone Watch Wrestling? (WWE, AEW, TNA, NWA, etc)

Gutted for Barrett, don't blame him for wanting to go though, shame it didn't work out for him.

Taker's opponent is not on the WWE Roster.

So, Finn Balor or Sting? Only teo guys with logic behind the choice. Sting is injured but he could do one last match however, it would be hard to get clearance. As much as we all want to see it, it's too late for it and I don't think anyone wants to see Sting lose again in his 3rd match in the WWE.

Finn Balor would be interesting, but it seems like NXT is keen on him staying in NXT to become the companies face.

So who do we think is this mystery opponent not from the WWE roster?

Goldberg rings a bell. Not a very appealing match I don't think, but at the same time, when has any of WWE's top matches been really appealing. They completely inverted their position from having sleep inducing mid card matches and stellar top of the line matches, to having amazing mid card matches and everything else sleeping face first in the snow. I don't see it being anyone young or someone that wasn't in WWE during the Undertaker's reign. I'm praying they don't bring in some new guy and give him the Lesnar boost.

I don't even think they'll give Cena that privilege if their match goes ahead next year.

The only thing Taker had left was the Streak. They've taken that away from him, and to make him lose again, it'd be absolutely stupid if WWE Creative did that... but then again, this is WWE Creative we're talking about so don't leave anything out, I guess.

EDIT- Well, slight update, you can rule out NXT as well, and apparently the two main contenders are Sting and Goldberg. Both men are past their prime (unfortunately so is Taker) but they are still dream matches with the chance to become a reality. His opponent is set though, but WWE are remaining tight lipped.

Everyone is ignoring Kurt Angle, but he's just finished up with TNA. I could see it being a swerve and him coming in, however if Taker comes out on Raw and mid walk you head that Glass Smash I will lose my s:censored:

I was just about to post about that .

I immediately would take Kurt Angle out since his last match on TNA was meant to be his last career match as he is now retired. I would rule out Sting too since he doesn't seem interested in fighting Taker because of what he said last year, also he is still injured though he could change his mind.

I'm not sure about Goldberg due to his relationship with WWE but it could be a possibility.

But I recall Angle saying it was his retirement from in ring action for TNA.
According to Wikipedia he is legitimately retired. Granted Wikipedia means next to nil, but they seem to be spot on 28th sports.

Seeing more of TNA history from the time I stopped watching (2011 - 2015, without any spoilers), and I must say I love their match types and concepts. I find them much more exciting than WWEs match types minus Hell in a Cell and my personal favourite Elimination Chamber  and I have been missing out on a lot.

Feast or Fired concept is far more interesting than Money in the Bank, not only is there 4 Briefcases but 1 of them contains are Pink Slip meaning your fired (sometimes in Storyline, sometimes Legit). My only complaint is that the Feast or Fired match itself is horrible in comparison to Money in the Bank as the Feast or Fired matches are objects on poles matches :/

King of the Mountain can be an unpredictable match and is honestly one of my favourite things of TNA, they now have a Championship which is based off this match. However, the only flaw is how much Jeff Jarrett gets exposed in these matches which seem a little cheap as he is the founder of TNA.

Do I really need to explain Ultimate X matches .

Lethal Lockdown, to me feels like TNA's answers to WWE Survivor Series and WCW's War matches but it is rather interesting on how this works, and when all wrestlers are in, Items come in and the Cage roof is applied allowing for an all out wall.

Option C, I find is a good way to make Minor Guys get pushes, as this concept allows the Minor Champion (TNA X Division Champion) to vacate his Championship and go for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship at Destination X, not only does this push the minor guys but it also means that there is a guaranteed new X Division Champion which is usually exciting to see what happens.

Fast Lane tonight, here is the final card

Kick-Off Show

United States Championship-two out of three falls

Kalisto (c) v Alberto Del Rio

---------------------------------------------------------

Becky Lynch & Sasha Banks v Tamina and Naomi

AJ Styles v Chris Jericho

Intercontinental Championship
Kevin Owens (c) v Dolph Ziggler

Kane, Big Show & Ryback v The Wyatt Family

Divas Championship
Charlotte (c) v Brie Bella

Number One Contenders Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship-Triple Threat Match
Dean Ambrose v Roman Reigns v Brock Lesnar

Also the is a Cutting Edge Peep Show bit with Edge, Christian and the New Day in the middle of all that too, so its a pretty packed card, can stay to watch it tonight, quite looking forward to it...

I got the Swimming Carnival on the day, besides card doesn't look that impressive to me minus the pre-show match and the Intercontinental Championship match.

I'm more interested in TNA Lockdown this Tuesday.

Im seriously starting to get really tired and sick of charlotte being divas champ. For the love of god WWE give someone else a chance :ouch:

HHH/Reigns hopefully will be some wonderfully overbooked stuff, all things considered. This makes the Raw after WrestleMania must-watch to me, not just because of the likely Amore/Cass callup.

Sadly there is no Money in the Bank holder to save us from the Main Event this time :/.

Unless a miracle happens where Seth Rollins comes in during the match between HHH/Reigns, and uses his rematch clause to insert himself in the match and wins but that won't happen. Sure Roman could pull off a great match but Action is pointless without good characters and a good story to get invested in and WWE seem to can't do that with Reigns.

Mixed bag for me last night, liked the opening Diivas tag match, Styles/Jericho and the main event, the rest was meh or crap and I am very indifferent to the main event finish, and that's about it really.....oh and Ziggler's hair was shocking!

Interesting way to start Raw tonight with this Vincent K McMahon award, I have no idea what this is or who will get it but it has been causing some speculation on social media about this recently, you guys know anything?!

Also finishing on some good news, Shinsuke Nakamura has officially signed by WWE, was announced last night 👍👍

Cant argue with all that, but y'know there is still 6 weeks to WrestleMania, a lot can happen in the next month or so, things can change....

I don't see how WWE can turn it around. Batista turning heel, is what allowed Daniel Bryan to save Wrestlemania XXX and Seth Rollins was able to save Wrestlemania 31 since he was Mr. Money in the Bank. I see no way anyone can save this Main Event, especially since Vince won't let Roman turn heel. Like how no one could've saved Wrestlemania 29 from Twice in a Lifetime.

Ironically 10 years ago, the main event was Triple H against another Super Hero character (John Cena)

Nice to see that things haven't changed in the past 10 years. Next year will be Roman Reigns vs. another old Wrestler but that wrestler will be face that time.

So it looks like we'll see Bahrock Lesnar and Dean Ambrose at Wrestlemania.

I honestly couldn't care less about this match, it feels like it belongs at the the other big 4 PPVs, has the potential to be a great match but the story has nothing there to make me care, nothing is up for grabs or anything is there to make it interesting. Not to mention this takes the Wyatts ruin Bahrocks chances of being WWE World Champion at the Royal Rumble out of continuity.

If Dean Ambrose was still IC Champion, it would be better, Dean vs. Lesnar for the Intercontinental Championship. It would bring a lot of prestige to the Intercontinental Championship but this rivalry feels pointless and just pitting these 2 guys against each other just because.

Shane O'Mac has returned, to a massive pop, and has revealed he can claim to be the Raw GM whenever he wishes due to a deal he and Vince did. His promo was great.

However, Shane won't have control, unless he beats an opponent at Wrestlemania, which is... The Undertaker, in Hell in a Cell.

I hope that was just a storyline filler, it'll be interesting, but not worthy unless they are turning Taker heel, which oh god please don't.

I wouldn't mind a Heel Taker it'll be interesting to watch how it'll play out.

I desperately want Shane to win the match as it'll mean the end of the Authority angle FINALLY! Unless Shane turns out to be more evil than the Authority afterwards or the Authority come back :(

So far the only match at WM32 I'm looking forward to.

Nobody should have ever ended the streak. Maybe Michaels or Punk, but that's it. Lesnar was fed the streak just to boost his Beast gimmick. Shane O'Mac, it's great he's back, but nope. If they let him win, then the WWE has absolutely lost the plot. I'm sure there will be some other way for the Authority to go out of power, and it'll probably come before Summerslam, or maybe at Extreme Rules in some sort of grudge match between Vince, Triple H and Shane O'Mac.

Taker lost the streak, I honestly couldn't care less if he lost to Heath Slater at the next Wrestlemania, having Shane lose would just make this whole moment absolutely pointless, also it would be great that at the Raw after Wrestlemania, there is no more Authority and we are back with Wrestler vs Wrestler action at the Main Event scene. Also HHH would probably have to get a rematch at the next PPV after Wrestlemania so he would be out of the equation.

Its great to see Undertaker wrestle but I honestly think we need to help elevate the weekly product instead of a Wrestler who only wrestles at least once a year nowadays and has already lost what is important to him. It is best for the long run IMO
