Getting 1st place in all races in this event will get you a total of 1,000,000 credits. A huge amount from the temporary credit boost. It's 100,000+ creds for each race then 500,000 as the final reward, both in A and B Spec. Just gettin that out there.

Has anyone else found any other good grinds since the credit increase?
 
I love doing the indy in bspec in the dream car series. Nice amount of credits plus decent exp.

It's a great way to rack up both credits and EXP while doing very, very little. I'm switching between doing endurance events in B-Spec and the Indy Dream Car Challange race, while watching older Top Gear Episodes :lol:
 
how long does it take to complete the dreamcar championship all together though? For B-Spec that is? Seems like this is the fastest way to make money and xp now.

I stopped watching a week and a half ago, lol... start the race, turn the tv off, going back to Christmas shopping now. :dopey:

But I do a little A Spec between races...

Depends on the car... With an FGT, you should be done in two and a half hours, if I'm not mistaken...
 
Sounds like it was probably decent money to begin with. The money boost is only around 20%, so I'm guessing we're already looking at 800K+, even after the boost goes away.
 
I'm willing to bet in that same amount of time, you could knock out 8-9 rounds of Indy & have even more in a half hour.
 
Isn't American Championship Indy faster to get a million? 5 laps, 3 and a half mins = 117,000 credits. 1 hour of grinding will net 1,775,000 credits!
 
I'm using the X1, only take 15 minute for one track in B-spec. Can you say profit :lol:

Yap the X1 gets it done fast.

It takes about 1:10 to 1:25 to finish the entire thing.

The American Championship is still faster but that means having to sit there and actually.....race it yourself :drool:

So with the X1 it's not bad at all to finish it in B-spec. I rather do it this way than A-spec the indy in American Championship mysellf. I think after 1hr you gain pretty much the same amount of xp and credits. Now if I can use the X1 to grind the indy in American championship, then that would be different.

I've been grinding this, 108k each race and then a 500k bonus for winning the championship and you only need to do the first 4 races to win.

What about the last race in the championship? If you did the last one wouldn't you receive 108k more to your total though?

Yeah but it's 5 minutes longer than the others so it's quicker to start a new championship and the 500k bonus comes around quicker :)

btw the 5 races (it counts as a race when you quit just after the start at the Nurburgring) will totally refresh the used car dealership so you can buy cars you've been waiting for for ages :D

What happens if you quit before the start of the last race. Will you still be able to win the 500k Championship money?

I don't know think you'll get the championship money because you're quiting the championship not the race, besides you can quit the second after the car moves of the line to get the half a million so I'd do it that way :)
 
Gotmaxpower thanks for the tip. I guess the 108k in the last race isn't worth it then since its the nurburgring. So I'm guessing you would make more by quitting the last race everytime then.
 
Also, you will still get the 500k+ championship money even if you're tied in points after exiting the final race. You will have to start the race but you can exit right away :).
 
I'm actually in the middle of doing the B-Spec of it right now. (In race 5/5)

When I saw Nurburgring 24hr on the loading screen to the next track (5th/last track), I'm like "what...no way". But then I saw it's only the track, being at 3 laps.

Just thought I would give that heads up to you all so you won't freak when you see that like I did.
