Drift Photo Competition: Week 1

i have the sickest drift from a honda odyssey on el capitan... i just dont have a memory stick, or know how to use it.. damn tho, this picture could win any competition (its drifting on 2 wheels with fire out the exhaust and its not outta control, i landed the drift fine) i wanna get it on here so bad.. 2 wheels and theyre chromed, also i messed with suspension so its super high and super squishy (more fun while racing)

It may be a nice pic but it wont win this comp.

This is nice .. Definetly some nice images in here. I would vote for the Reddish Benz drift that I saw in the earlier pages.

I notice this is based a lot on photography, A lot of you guys who are posting your images, need to take your angles, background, and location on the track into consideration.
Some of these images make me thing that your drifting on a straight away.
However, others that show the red, and white enbankments, with the trail smoke, scream out loud ... DRIIFT.

I will have to look through the set up section, so I can set up my AE 86 SS for drifting, then take my stab at some shots, after practice...

anyhow keep on ..latz.
 
well you have more angle and its less blurry on the first one. doesnt it suck that the lotus carlton only comes in one color?
 
wow. people need to read the DIRECTIONS and RULES and LIMITATION before they post..

working on drifts... it's harder than i thought it would be..
it's way different from gt3 T-T;;
 
hey idea

make 2 threads... contest discussion where you post pics and ask for opinions... and rate other pics etc...
and contest thread where you can only post a pic and only once... as in make up your mind in the discussion thread and then post it in the contest thread... and dont open the contest thread until like 2 days before the due date (so it doesnt get crowded)

Took a bit of time before I could drift in GT4 with the wheel, as you need to take out the countersteer a lot sooner than in GT3. Having the Logitech wheel fight you when you take your countersteer out sucks too. But good god is it so much fun!

Ok guy sorry I haven't been here in a while. I will start working on the poll soon. If you have posted multiple pictures even though you weren't (sorry for not directly stating this) I will pick the one I think you wanted to use. Give me a little while though guys because thats alot of pictures!

Edit: Can any of you guys help me out with a poll? I've never posted one before so I don't really know how to do it. I will get all the pictures and stuff organized for you so you dont have to search through the whole thing. Thanks 👍
 
What's up guys, I'm new here but I've been a GT fan since GT1... Been learning to drift all over again going from GT3 to GT4, but loving every minute of it. And since it's still 10:43 pm where I am, the competition is still open, so here's one of my favorites. Not your average drift ride...

well this contest appears to be going nowhere fast.....

and isnt there a limit on how many items can be in a poll? next contest we need to have a limit on entries and everyone should be required to post either a link or a thumbnail because its a pain in the ass to look at 20+ pictures that are larger than most monitor resolutions.

Im going to take it upon myself to post the poll for this first competition if i dont see any progress by this evening. This one really got out of control, and due to the overwhelming response by everyone, I imagine some people wont be able to be entered into this weeks contest.

I offered to help drifterboy77 a few pages back but i havent seen him make a post since then, I am willing to help run these contests and keep them more under control so expect some action from me tonight if nothing is done today.

Thanks! I really need help with the poll because I have no idea how to do it. I already have all the members names and the links saved on my computer. I can give it to you whenever.
 
damn if i was diciding it would have to be ThinkInsider :) :) the best drift pic I see that countersteer... ;)

he got that truck for completing the beginer truck compitition if you wanted to know
