Hey guys,

I would like to tune my XKR for drifting, but I can't find a tune...
Does anyone have a nice drift tune for it?

Thomas

Oh, I suppose my brain must have replaced a letter so it made more sense.

Alright, I'll concede I can't find an XKR drift tune. With good reason.

If you're that determined though I don't see why any of the coupe tunes wouldn't work as a good base to work from.

It should, all of my drift cars share the same base tune. Sometimes they need a little tweak but most of the time it works right off the base.

That Jag could probably drift in stock form, you might just need to change the LSD, either way, it's got a lot of power and is already pretty low.

Although it weighs 1600 KG stock. Not fun to slide around with that. It needs quite a lot of tuning, to become average. Never really liked it :s (<== Opinion)

I like it, but indeed it needs some tuning...
That's why I am still looking for a tune.

What has that got to do with it? If you have no decent and on-topic remarks to make, why make a remark in the first place?

Because I know how much you love it LoL. The sarcasm that is and I feel you should get as much as possable. Cause you think that we as a whole should use the same ole same ole cars because thats what they do IRL.

Actually just decided to start working on one. When i am done with it I will give you the tune to try out if you want.

It may take me a little bit the thing really takes the old saying "it is like driving a boat" to a new level

🤬 please. Get real you are a video game drifter and are scared to get dirty so how in the hell can I take most anything you say to the head.

Don't get mad now hate to see you loose it over something as dumb as this.

And about the XKR leave the weight in it and soften the suspinsion down to like 2's and 4's max run 3.0 camber in the front and 4.0 in the rear and leave toe stock. Slam it to the ground and run 7.0 through 12.0 on the spring rate.

Lsd will be your own preferance but you can try 30,25,10

I have a XKR with my own tune, but it's bad...
The car feels just not right, so I would love to get your tune when you are finished! :)

Yeah no problem. I will tune it on my wheel of course but it should be good for you either way. I'll let you know when I get done with it.

And i think he is talking to Dom. Quiet frankly I am tired of seeing people constantly bickering with her about her desired style. It is getting old

No I'm not mad at all but yeah. Everyone is differant so thats why I gave you a range of numbers its just gonna take some time and practice but good luck.

Everyone is different (fortunately)! :)
But I am just looking for a solid tune that makes the car nicer to drift with.
If I get a tune I will try it and adapt it to my own style.
Now I have a really bad tune and don't know what to do.
That's why I want to get a tune diiferent people like, so I can try it and maybe adapt it a bit to my likings...

The estrogen's strong in this thread! Why does every thread in this forum have to turn into a pissing match? Jeese, off topic much?

Add power, about 270km/h of top speed, stiff suspension. Then power slide it. Can't go wrong. lol

.....and lessen some weight if it feels to heavy for you.

I personally like my cars on the heavier side (1500-1300kg), it gives me something to throw around but can be harder if you're using a controller.

Thanks for all the help!
It's a heavy car indeed, even after Weight Reduction 3.
But it drifts pretty well now. :)

I have another car I can't seem to get drifting...
The Amuse GT1 Turbo (hope that's the corrct name).
A lot of people drift with it, but for me it grips too much...
Has anyone a nice drift tune for it?
