Drift use the Brake or Emergence?

In ShadowDrifter's Drift Bible Volume 1, He explains Choku-Dori.

It's basically pulling the hand-brake (e-brake) to initiate drift, and then maintaining and controlling the drift using throttle, and of course counter-steer when needed.

I myself prefer feinting and linking, but for those really narrow hairpins, the hand-brake (e-brake) comes to good use.

i thought it wuz when u use the Hand break to slalom and then go into a drift. i dunno..

it also finally clicked how being able to heal-toe would make my style better. i'd be able to turn in even sooner if i wasnt worried about rev's dropping. and its hard to shift down w/ paddles sometimes. if only i had that third pedal.

has anyone else noticed letting ur revs drop really fast has smaller but effects to a handbreak?

i noticed my car oversteers when i let the revs drop... maybe its just accell off...

That's called weight shifting.
When accelerate a larger amount of the wieight is on the rear wheels. When you then realease the throttle,
the weigh transfers to the front wheels for a moment. That makes the rear wheels loose grip.
