i know what would be better, race driving?

if they wanted you to drift they would have put drifint championahips in instead of rallying :P

1. they don't want me to drive 120 on 90 roads, i still do it...

2. if i was a slave to Polyphony and did everything as they WANT me to do... i still don't get why they put in D1GP cars and the Shigeno version of Trueno (from Initial D).... they are built to be drifted. (this is not really a good excuse because the Evo 4 is actually built for street/rally...) hmm... POLYPHONY WANTS ME TO DRIFT!!! :dopey:

hahah the SS trueno? Drift? HAHAHAHAHA
Thats funny **** dawg.
Seriosuly, why dont you try and get that thing to slide in the game. Without pulling the handbrake, thats cheating. The SS Trueno is too light and inderpowered to drift. It was built for touge racing. RACING. Very different from drifting.
Don't get me wrong, I've entered many drift comps with my FC, won and lost a few.
But I know the best way to lose a race is to drift.

ok the ss trueno is not a racing car and yes it looks like the initial d car but it is not it is a real car that was owned and drifted by shigeno AKA the DRIFT king

you must have missed the very numerous pictures of this car drifting. :banghead: i own one in the game, havent touched it yet, but i can guarantee you that you do not have to use the hand brake to get it loose. isnt it near 200hp stock?

isn't shigeno an anime story writer? anyway, he's for sure not the drift king. Keiichi Tsuchiya(dorikin), remember that name.

And drifting is the figure skating of cars? sounds a little.. you know.. well, i always thought of it as the skate boarding of cars.

sorry to disapoint you but you got it all wrong... the SS is made for drifting as much as a chair is made for sitting, pizza for eating, tea for drinking, tvs for watching... i think you get the point, don't even discuss it if you don't know what you are talking about... a guy in my old class was like you are, he was hated by all except one, even the teachers hated him...

Okay. So I came off like an arrogant forum ass.
Sorry.
But lets get two things straight. (here we go with the numbers again)

1. The SS trueno doesn't actually exist, the Its a tuner car, that was made for TOUGE RACING. Not drifting. If it were made for drifting, it would have a small turbo engine that puts out good mid-range RPM torqe.

2. Shingeno is NOT the drift king, if you don't know that Keiichi Tsuchiya is the drift king (im not saying YOU said that kekke2000, someone else did) then you... probably don't know what dynamic drift is either. Ironicly, Shingeno is afraid to drive, and wears glasses haha.
The reason I say the SS trueno is not a drift car, is cause I know a kid who has an AE86 Corolla GTS (the usa hachiroku) with a swapped in 4AGE-S the toyota atlantic motor, a swap made popular by the anime Initial D (ID's 86 is the car wich the ss trueno is based) Anyways, his car can never keep its RPMs high enough to hold a drift. When you break the tires loose, the engine drops its RPMS to redline and you regain grip, truly making it an amazing RACE car. Tsuchiya's 86 on the other hand has a regular 4AGE with a small turbo, allowing to keep good torque in the mid rpm ranges, resulting in good drifting habits. Though, his car is also tuned for touge racing. His drift car is a S14 Silvia K's

Funny how a cute anime can **** up everyone's understanding of an underpowered japanese economy car, eh?

ok i take back the "forum ass" thing... you seem ok... it's hard to express yourself correctly on a forum... we are arguing about... nothing... let's face it...

it think Polyphony included some cars e.t.c. so people can enjoy drifting, you don't
i believe the Shigeno is made for drifting (even though it's fantasy, so is GT4), you don't

oh... and one thing... even though Shigeno is a geek who is afraid to drive, he still has a cool drift (in my opinion) car named after him.

end of story, peace and all fine mate?

The only reason everyone argued your point is because it came across as you saying - "You can't drift the SS trueno. It was not built to do that, and you can't do it." when its evident that you know as well as anyone the popularity of Truenos in the growing drift scene (ID aside they are still popular). You probably dont need turbos on these cars to get them loose on a downhill touge course.

i really hate to seem like the newb guy here but a buddy of mine has a "hachi roku" as far as motor mods go it has maybe an intake. but the biggest key to drifting is the suspension setup hes got tein coilovers and a kaaz diff with a clutch and he can drift the piss out of that car and hold it sideways for good while
