Drive my cars on shared list

Anyone have success driving the cars placed on your shared list? Manual 6-16 reads that you can. I have not been able.

Have you been able to drive your cars that you are sharing?

Yeah, my shared cars are usable by others but I can't use them as the manual outlines.

Oh I see, then the answer is no you cannot drive your own cars when they are shared.

You can drive them, but only online. Weird yes, makes sense, no.

It makes sense that you can drive them online, so that you can run a one-make race using a car your friends might not have. But yeah, if they're allowing that, might as well be able to use it offline as well. That's just a poor choice. (one of MANY Kaz / PD has made.)
