Does the Platinum take time to register? I should have gotten one but didn't. I've gotten an accolade in one of each (events, vehicles, gamemode and gameplay) :odd:

Edit: it seems the description is incorrect and I have to get to level 6 in all the levels (not even close to one in "Locations" )

You only need to max out one accolade in a few of the categories. Might be a bug.

Small question : I'm LVL 68/8. Already completed the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Time Trial @Trotternish, which means I'll be 69/9 soon.

Can you tell me which is the toughest Elite challenge ?

Trouble is, asking which is the hardest or most demanding is a subjective thing, as each of us will likely say something different from the rest; one man's poison and all that ;)

That would be tedious if you were expecting just the one, and locations is indeed the worst. I was going for 100% completion anyway, so would have almost had that just before the patch - and that brings me to think that it isn't intended as @Jawehawk suggests.

Maybe you should message them, just in case.

Maxing out a location accolade?! What the hell...that is an awful change. Doesn't add longevity, just a total hassle especially since it was changed from the original seemingly.

I'll tweet Rushy, tell me about it Brend, closest I am to this is Canada which I need to complete 200 events in to Level 5 then I'm guessing atleast 300 more to level 6.

I havent maxxed out a location accolade yet, don't think I'm very close to any either and I have done 2000odd events all in. Strange change if this is what has happened.

I think people were having trouble with the Audi RS6 which I breezed through. There is an Ariel Atom test later though which I am quite scared of right now because that car is hard to handle.

Understand that. But there are some kind of event, like the Venom Hop Lap in crazy rain, where no one can tell "it was easy". Wanted to know if that kind of event where can you barely see the road happens in Elite Challenges.

Here, I got a bit scared when I saw that the LVL69 Elite Challenge was with the McLaren P1. Love the car but don't like to play with all that DRS-KERS stuffs. To many things to deal with :banghead:.

Required time is 1:25.000.

1st lap : 1:32.xxx (no ghost) - Starting to feel I'll take me the whole month to complete it.
2nd lap : 1:28.xxx - Yet better
3rd lap : 1:25.6xx - Holy **** I can do it
4th lap : 1:24.2xx - :cool:

Frankly, what is the point in getting annoyed? Tweet them, they'll look into it, then change it and you can get the trophy; it'll just take a bit longer to get, that's all.

I can hardly imagine that this is something which has been done on purpose, as it's a trophy, I've never heard of one being changed to make it more difficult after a game release, so it's surely a bug :)

I'm not too chuffed with the level of difficulty of the Elite level challenges, but that could be down to the fact that I've stopped caring about them after I unlocked the RS.01, I'm 73/6, the only thing that's worth writing to Evo about is to add greater rewards than liveries for completing those time trials.

A new car or bike every few Elite levels would be pretty nice if you ask me. I still do the Elite Levels just because I can, but really, the "road to R.S. 01" really made the first few Elite Levels worthwhile.

1. Yes, the A110-50 is included in the Redline expansion.
2. Rushy just said "next week". We all hope we hear more on Monday, though, for obvious reasons.

Also, Maybe the bike and car unlocks could be related to neccessary vehicles you need for progressing through the levels...

Strange, I didn't have to get location accolade to level 6 for the platinum trophy. And I got the trophy after update with AMG.

I also had a problem that game wouldn't register I have everything needed for the trophy as I was using bikes to grind the races. But after few races with cars I got the trophy.

Likewise here. I had trouble with the 'win five challenges' trophy, that caused me major grief. It randomly popped up 12 days after I done the challenges though so I was happy. :lol:

EDIT: I have good news, in the very near future you will see my name on the news section of the site reporting on Driveclub news (among other topics) as I am now part of the writing team. :D

Rushy has somehow fixed it and I now have the platinum. My first ever, so happy for this and for Driveclub to be the game that gives it to me.


One of my all time favorite games and EVO have a special place in my heart, A lot of studios should learn from them, thank you to every dev there and I wish them all the best. I'd buy a PS4 again just for Driveclub, a bit corny for a virtual trophy but lastly thank you GTPers for your help, heres to many more races with you guys <3

Congrats on the platinum bro! This is the kind of game that keeps me playing to try and get the trophies too! I' probably never get there...

I think you just listened to the 27 original songs, and not the 7 bonus songs that have been made for the Bikes expansion. Don't get me wrong, though, the game's soundtrack is one of the best I've ever heard. It kind of reminds me of WipEout, which is in no way a bad thing.
