Am I going to get married again?!
I have never been through a divorce (or been married for that matter), but when I put down the controller for the last time on GT3, I had an inkling of what it would be like. Sure she was pretty to look at and she was pretty fine to drive too, but due to the neverending "put the goddamn toilet seat down" nagging of the horrible A.I., all the time I had to spend with her and not with my friends, and the fact that she only knew 180 sex positions became all too much to bear.
Though there were tears and fights, I knew she had to be cut out of my life, and so I did, for many long years.
She turned up at my door drunk a few years ago, telling me she had changed, and wanting me to take her back. I told her I would think about it, and did some research on the popular advice site for this sort of thing www.gtplanet.net - they told me all I needed to know - not enough had changed, I knew we would just slip into the same old patterns, so I told her no.
Fast forward 6 years, to now.
She's back in my life, and I think this time it might be for good. How did this happen?
I bumped into her whilst browsing in Game. It was impossible not to stare - whilst before she was merely pretty, she was now smoking hot. I couldn't not talk to her, and we began to flirt again through the internet like a pair of teenagers. She sent me teaser videos and raunchy photos, showcasing her lovely exterior, and I couldn't help but wonder whether she had really changed underneath. I turned to my advice site again, and after reading all that I could, I began to feel the old love re-ignite.
1000 cars total? 16 cars per track? NASCAR? Better driving physics? Skidmarks? Reverse lights? Damage? My mind boggled. It was like in those six years all she had done was go to self improvement classes, and it showed.
I just had to have her once more.
So, GT5. Welcome back to my life. This time, I'm sure there will be a happy ending.
wow this place is so quiet now you could here a cricket pee lol
no one else with a reveiw?
Great race last night, didn't expect night racing to be so tough.
It's pretty cool what you're doing KaiLee!
Here's my simple review: GT5 the reason I bought a PS3. Actually it's sort of a tradition for me, for every GT game that came out I bought a PS. Because the game was always worth it for me. Some say it's too expensive just to play this one game. But if you love cars, racing, drifting, tuning, and customizing like me, heck why not?...GT never seizes to amuse me it's only getting better and better...graphics, game play, cars, etc.
GT5 is a masterpiece of a game that has few to little issues, but none of them come from the graphics of the cars themselves. From racing the little Fiat 500 with 17 HP to the ferocious X2010 with over 1500 HP, each car was painstakingly created for the sheer enjoyment of the player. The game offers something for everyone in terms of selection and its not just in the cars, but also the tracks. With the new feature of creating your own track for racing pleasure, there is no end in sight from using 1,031 cars on an infinite amount of circuits. There are some glitches with the game (involving the XP tree, the lack of events at certain tracks and the potential need of grinding), but this game is a racer's game, not for a person who gets bored easily. With patience, these issues can be overlooked and one can enjoy the sheer thrill of racing that only a Gran Turismo series game can employ so well.
no more reveiws?
Here is my review in the quotes, I'm not sure if you wanted a serious review or not, but oh well, here goes![]()
Take pictures of various not easily identifiable cars in photo mode, like a part of the bumper or the hood or something like that. Not an easy to identify part of the car.Whoever guesses what car it is first wins.Or Have a contest over a couple of weeks and post 5 pics a day for a week or two and which ever gtplanet member has he most correct guess at the end of the contest will win a wheel.
Was that supposed to be an attack/criticism of the OP?
No,what do you mean?It was merely a suggest for the contest.
The post looked like it was making a jab at the OP about how silly it was. I guess I read it from the wrong perspective. Apologies.
