Yup, thats the biggie. Breaking never was a problem (for me).

The paddle shifters were part of the big sell for me. Unfortunately the aspect of not being able to downshift really bites. I guess automatic isn't too bad, but I'm sure not getting my money's worth.

You can't downshift, whatta you mean? (this wheel is sounding worse and worse?!?!?!:( )

It's not as bad as it sounds. The problem is that sometimes in middle of turns you have to to ease up on the gas or maybe do a little pumping on the brakes to get the downshift paddle to respond. I omit the problem by rapidly downshifting while breaking before entering (or as I enter) the turn. Having to downshift after you've reached the middle of the turn means you have entered the turn wrongly anyway.

That literally sucks!!! I have lost alot of respect for the company, especially since, according to that dudes page that's posted, they aren't, (or at least weren't), planning on fixing these issues. Guess I've got a different place to blow $100 on, as soon as I find it to blow :p

I am glad that I have read this as well... I am not going to buy a GT force wheel for these reason stated above. I know the problems can be fixed... But I dont feel like jerry rigging up my wheel so it works right. I am HIGHLY dissapointed with these findings and I thank all who have posted on it.

All of the current wheels have issues. I have tried to outline them
