ABS off is not true to life though, imo. At least not with a standard controller. I'd love to try it with a wheel and foot pedals though.

Off!
Listen what he has got to say about it.
yes, that's why I always make sure it's off, it's so distracting!Leave it off. Never switch it on.
You can only learn a track by driving the track, otherwise surely you are learning a line!
iknow what you describing, but even that little red light I don't pay attention to it. In all honesty, I never knew how it worksIt really doesn't make much difference for me. Half the times it's on and half the times it's off! If you want to know when to break, it's best to look at the gear number and when you see it start to flash, start breaking.
It would be on an old bucket of a car from years gone by.
I owned a Lada and that didn't have ABS! (Didn't actually go fast enough to warrant it though!)
Now I understand what you mean.Yeah I know I described that pretty badly! Look at the gear indicator, and when you need to break the number of the gear you should go into would pop up, and when it starts flashing, is the best time to break. It's hard to describe so here's a picture!
It shows you are in gear 2, but next to it shows gear 1 in red. That's what I mean. It indicates that you should gear down to gear 1. At the last moment it would flash and that's when I usually break because it's the last possible second.
For me:
tc-off
ABS-off
ST-off
drive line-off
If you want to be a real and good racer you have to turn all the AIDS off!just my opinion
PS:the gear change indicator indicates always the wrong gear, when it indicates the first I shift into second gear, when it indicates the second I shift into third gear....
...In GT4,... You also had the option of limiting the HUD, getting rid of the brake-gear indicator (meaning that you actually had to know when to brake!)...
Nice! We had a Lada for many years. It was a "Kombi" (Wagon) and very fancy in its time hehe. We also had to wait 12 years before we could pick it up after ordering. (east germany).
Doing 120km/h on the Autobahn we thought we were flying. haha![]()
I've noticed this a few weeks ago. Someone should address this problem.PS:the gear change indicator indicates always the wrong gear, when it indicates the first I shift into second gear, when it indicates the second I shift into third gear....
Turned it off as soon as I could. The only exception was that special event at night in Toscana in the Lambo. Otherwise you can't see anything.
