Driving Music

Do you listen to the in-game music or your own when you're racing? If you do have your own special blends of beat, what are your favorites?

I currently blast around the tracks to the nice killer beat of my Initial D soundtrack collection.

i can always tell when i have a different memory card in when the music starts playing, in my regular game i keep it turned off

my own, i cant drive to the songs they have, i need metallica, guns n roses, bon jovi, ect to drive to.

Good choices, how do you think you'd drive if say the theme to Vegie Tails or some Nicolodian show was playing in the background?

never heard(or remember hearing) vegie tails, Nickolodian shows would depent on what show it was

If I listen to music while racing (which I rarely do) I listen to my own. I don't like much of the music they put in the game so I turn it off. The only time I listen to the game's music is in the replay mode.

I agree, I felt the in-game music was rather limited in different genres. Not sure what PD was aiming for in the music department. But, the sound effects sure are nifty

I don't really think of Gran Turismo as being that exciting of a game. It's just fun to drive around in your car... even more so when you have competition. That is why I turn the in-game music off and the R&B on.

Hmmmm...

Sometimes I like to listen to tunes - make out like I'm driving a real car with the stereo on.

Any good music will do me, but I'm always partial to a bit of Led Zep or Queen. 👍

Pleeezze!! You didn't think I watched the Wiggles 'cause I love their accent, did you? (Actually, the Aussie accent sounds pretty cool to us Yanks)

The sad thing is that I know more theme songs from children's TV than I do songs on the radio. Sad ... very sad.
