ok, only about 2 days left until the next Volume of the DSJ. So far the nominations are still as shown in the first post of the thread. The Evo 8 MR is still leading the Celica rustbucket by 1.

I'm about to release my movie in about 1-2 weeks. It has a lot of footage of my evo8 MR.

I've got personal settings for them that work really well for me and just wanted to let you know if you do get to experiment with the evo in week 3, I'd be happy to help in tuning that beast 👍

whoops, slept in a little bit today.
It was a good Halloween social :sly:

Volume 3 Nominations are now closed. 👍

Ok, the next subject car as decided in this thread is the '04 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII MR GSR with 5 nominations.

Volume 4 Nominations are now open. They'll be closing Saturday, November 12th, 2005 at 12:00am NA Central Time (GMT-06:00).

Also, please continue to post your thoughts on whether or not the DSJ should have weekly or biweekly installations (for now it's still biweekly).

I'm thinking maybe the HKS Silvia? I might change this later on as soon as I hear other people's inputs :/

I'm starting off with the Camaro LM Race car for now, this should be a treat with loads of rear end grip and 600+ HP stock ;)

... but I'm really thinking hard about MR cars, Viper GTS (though it doesn't seem that hard to setup), 70's Lancer rally car (FR) or something like that. I'll look through my garage and see if I can jot down a few projects I've given up.

once again i am nominating this car because i think it needs it. Thanks guys i enjoy these drift volumes

Celica 2000GT-FOUR(ST165)86'

Ruf BTR sounds good to me.

I think Delphic suggested it before, it does great lift throttle, but keeping it going on the gas can be...well...Rough.

I'll second the Ruf BTR nomination... I think it will be interesting to see how different people deal with the RR platforms strange behavior...

;)

All these FR cars handle pretty good IMO, I think, like DR we should do some cool exceptional things.

Ruf BTR has my vote now too:tup:

Alright, instead of what I voted before, I think we should experiment with the RUF like DR and G-T-4 Fan said, I tried it but the car always slides out from me...

Hmm I think the BTR is a lovely car actually, feel free to post check out and feedback on the settings I posted in the depot.. It's extremely predictable and stable imo, far more so than the yellowbird anyway ;)

ok, just another few days until volume 4 nominations close

right now it's looking like it'll be the BTR, currently with 5 nominations.

6 nominations for the BTR... Nice...

I'll definitely take part in that tuning discussion...

;)

well that's good b/c I'll be MIA for the first week of it - 2 midterm exams, a quiz, and an assignment next week.
I won't get to spend much time with the car until the second week.

I'll do my best to keep the topic moving along, and to keep things in line... Good luck on your tests...
