It's not DTM. It's WTCC. Or was it ETCC? This has been discussed before.

The BMW that is eligible isn't DTM either. The R8 is seems a bit unfair to be included as well, although it does have a weight handicap.

Here are the times I got in a fully maxed Mercedes CLK Touring Car:

Eiger Nordwand Short Track Reverse = 5:08
Indianapolis Motor Speedway Superspeedway = 4:11
Circuito de Madrid Reverse = 6:30
Circuit de la Sarthe 2009 = 7:33
Eifel (Circuit) 104A = 6:50

Wow, Eiger is an evil little course .... But I love it. Audi TT, Stage 1 Turbo, racing hards and still 4 seconds off first. Catching him though. Sort out my oversteer around the sharp corners, tweak my transmission and I'm there.

Loving this :)

Took my second shot at Eiger. I managed 4th place this time. I'm not liking that track with these cars. But I loved downtuning my A4 and running around Madrid. Now that, was fun. 👍

I know. The M3 GTR. It's from the American Le Mans Series. I read the description. ;)

That was fun!

Stock Opel 00 with RH tires.

Took a bit of setup work, but this gave me a reason to do it.

Stock GTM will improve the challenge. Anyone can over tune a car to win. If stock is still too easy for you, turn down you HP until you feel your skill set is being pushed.

Wow that was too easy, I bought a M3 GTR and entered it by accident with no upgrades or anything and I still won :(

I'm goin to run this tomorrow with a stock tt-r and a stock alfa 155..i hope i don't have to downtune them too much lol

Ufff...

Last night finished the races I had left from lunch. Eiger made the gold (made the 20 Millions with the gold here :D) hard to get, I had to put Softs, has I keep finishing second 3 sec beyond the leader CLK (without Skid Recovery Force, of course). I think the racing mediums should be enough.

The other tracks way too easy. I loved Madrid in Reverse layout, much more fun and flowing in my opinion.

I don't understand why PD decided to allow the Audi R8 in this events, there are already a lot of cars available, including another 2 Audis, it's a MR, more powerfull, altough heavier car and with more downforce then the DTM cars.

I loved the Eiffel track in this event. The sweeping last corner somehow felt perfect, and I really felt the rolling slopes as I got into the 'zone' racing round. One of the better seasonals imo

It would be so awesome if all the "DTM" cars where premiums

Did the races in the R8 Lms.

As with all really enjoyed the Eiger track. God the cars are slow in the corners.

Back to the enso and LaSarth for me, as just trying to find me last 15 cars or so.

I really enjoyed the eiger and eifel tracks the rest seemed too easy even in stock trim gonna down tune a bit and keep going

Completely agree, that last corner is perfect for these cars and this event!👍

The BMW M3 race car is a really strong car for this event.
But then again, that what I needed to gold them all, hah!
I had my M3 tuned to 615, and took all five races on the first go.

I tried it a few times with the A4 touring car, straight from the OCD, no tuning or mods, not even sure what tires it came with... But couldn't manage better than 4th. Not the cars fault, it drove really well, I just didn't drive it well enough!

I'm starting to try and not use racing soft tires, as I need more practice with less grip. The tracks in this event are a lot of fun, its a great seasonal to practice your driving skills.

The goal
complete the race without A) hitting anyone B) going off the track

Try Limited Slip Diff settings of 10 initial, 12 accel and 5 decel. This setup has been working for me on all of the DTM rear drive cars. It seems like PD just built one profile for the DTM cars and changed the body styles? All of the FR DTM cars handle the same.

Thanks for the tip, I'll try that.
at the risk of going off topic, what would that LSD tune do for the car? compared to the default settings.

Well, the regulations are very tight regarding frame, engine placement, transmission, dimensions, wheelbase, etc. that the cars are pretty much alike...

Not a standard frame as NASCAR COT but not too far from that either.

The new DTM cars, starting 2012 will use the same frame.

And yes, the standard LSD setup makes all of them tail happy.

I cannot agree. In my opinion the TT for example is different to the A4.
