Forget NY, have Seoul instead. Personally, I think it looks just like Norisring!
 
I'm ready, gotta have either the BMW GTR Race Car,or the Alfa anyone want to partner up with the Beemer or Alfa and me?

Ugh. I take back the fact that I may have alot on the go. IDC. I want to drive one of these cars. They can be so much fun. If anyone is looking for a teammate, let me know, but note that I don't like the Alfa, M3 or Calibra. :lol:
 
I not sure about super speedway or citta di aria, not very DTM like tracks....
 
A valid point there, Ash but I think we have to accept the limitations of what the game has to offer in some respects :(.

I for one would love (trying to) be the pilot of a DTM car around the Citta de Aria - I adore running that circuit as it's all about input control rather than snap reflexes or horse power.

I do agree with sjaak that using the Fuji 90's course rather than the 2005 GT course would be a godsend tho'.

That said, I do adivise that Appie sticks to his guns as steward on things he really wants in the series - short of everybody walking out of course :lol:.

On a series related matter, I just want to be up-front and say that I helped test the cars to determine their relative performance but I have no idea what handicapping Appie intends to apply. So it'll be just as much a surprise to me as anyone else (and I've already been assigned a car rather than my picking one, as I thought that was fairer) :D.

I just got my Max Drive today and I'm learning to use it... Could someone here tell me do the .max files work as the verification replays? Or do I have to convert them with something? And plus, I'm a PAL user so do the replays work with NTSC users? I know there's a thread for all this Max Drive bs, but going through 15 pages is pain :ouch:

.max files are the verification, and no ntsc users cant verify pal replays:tup:
 
So practically appie can only watch the PAL replays with his PS2 but no NTSC replays? How are the NTSC times "secured" then?
 
A trusted NTSC member will be asked to verify NTSC times, this would id imagine be a member outside of the series who is a respected member of online racing.

That's great man,I assume you want to use the Alfa, I love that car, first time I got it I stayed in it for days, same with the Beemer. Now for a team name....hum...have to think a bit on that one. You have any suggestions, a combo of our names , countries, car: "Alfafin22, Drewsky, Alfagoes, Effen A Racing, F & A Racing, SGD22" ....just a few off the top of my fried brain....your turn.

hey appie i just looked at the list of cars allowed. how come the audis have the least power? and why do the older cars have the most out of all of them. is this anything to do with power to weight ratio?
 
no its because the older cars are a bit slower than the newer cars so im trying to composate it
 
ah, I see. Have you tested these setting out on all the cars? If so, are all the lap times in the same range as each other?
 
I did some testing myself and it quite honestly just doesnt reflect what i got in my test results, i ran the cars in stock form and the Astra was 2 seconds faster than the M3, the Audis were the slower of the modern DTMs while the 190e, calibra and 15 lagged by 2-4 seconds.

you may as well take some pictures of the back of both the a4 and the tt and study them carefully, beacuse that's all your gonna be seeing of us Red Bulls!!!
