Hey Guys, my mate RSSTI and i are going to team up for the series...

just wondering if its possible for us to use the opel astra, or is there only one allowed?

Please let one of us know, so we know what car to test...

Our team name is the Aussie Battlers...

someone has to caome last right lol...

myself and skunkk have both decided that the Merc Evo and the Alfa are not competitive enough for us to want to start the season with them as our cars, our respective testing both revieled that the alfas and merc's including the calibra as well were all 2-3 seconds of the pace of the best times so far on TM
(1.16.xxx), and even so these tims were achived in many many laps, where as you can jump into an astra or a m3 race car and do consistant 1:17's in the first few laps of driving the cars...

The best times we achiveed out of the alfa and merc were 1:19.98 and 1:18.23 on very rare and honestly luckly laps...

we would be more than happy to enter the series, driving an astra if there can be another astra team included, making it three astra teams and three bmw teams...

not dissing your comp appeil7, i think it will make a great series, but its honestly too hard to be competitive in the older cars...

as i said if " The Aussie Batlers" can run an astra were in, but if not, oh well, we will have to watch...

this is only a suggestion, but I personally think we should include success ballast. The top 3 drivers from one race have to add 1% to their car's weight for the next race.

I'll second that suggestion. 👍

It can prevent us from a lot of unnecessary hassle, especially when we race with people, we don't know. 👍

Furthermore it's a great way to show respect to your hard working competitors.

It is a great idea, but some of us don't have the resources to do so. Not saying that i'll be vying for the podium, but just FYI.
