Okay folks, Racers Reunited's team event is next up on the calendar. There is one final tweak to the specs; the power setting for the KTM is now 98%.

I know that Suts can't make it, but, @Famine @Venari @AndreasR @buybon355 @Sparkz_360 @IfAndOr @JockeP22 @daan @Harsk100 @hobbsy can you fellas please let me know if you are available.

Any team which has only one driver must use the AMG.

Roll on Tuesday, I love that throbby German.

Yep, I'm available. I tested both the KTM and the Merc and I'm fine with either one, @daan.

The chief graphic designer and creative director of liveries on my side of the garage have unfortunately been
let go from the team due to restructuring and near financial ruin. Left are only two teenage unpaid interns, Larry Jensen and Harry Como, working on a £150 design budget for the season. These are their liveries for my three championship cars which will now go into production.

Our pit crew will consist of Larry & Harry's classmates, and they have already been informed about having to pay for travel expenses and hotel rooms out of their own pockets. The team has got no catering or vip treatments at the races. We have no HQ, although we sometimes get to use Harry's moms basement for race strategy meetings. She makes great sponge cake with blackcurrant tea by the way.

Our Team Principal has left us, though he was only with us for a few days anyway.
We are now looking for a new TP which will hopefully sign up and work for us pro bono.


Hopefully daan's side of the garage are better off financially. Together we're gonna make this work, somehow.
@Zolon32 I trust fuel and tyre costs will be taken care of courtesy of the Duos Team Event® organizers?
Because our budget will not nearly be able to cover those expenses.

Mine and daan's liveries will be different from each others, because daan's got more designers (both in terms of sheer numbers and skill) than I do.

I'm still planning on being there, though my daughter broke her leg recently which is adding to the work load of my side business "Dad's Taxi"... I say business, but what I really mean is charity!

Happily Jocke, I've managed to land a tremendous deal with a company specialising in making tyres by recycling used condoms... and now I'm waiting for an amusing pun to come to me, but I'm not there yet...

Just a reminder that the KTM is to be set at 98% power.

I plan on resetting the track at 8:30pm tonight fellas, for the one team member doing one lap thing in order to give us the grid positions, with a view to starting the first race at 8:40pm prompt.

There's no problem with using either car Hobbsy. The only relevance of your time is the last two digits, which will determine whether your team gets first and last places on the grid, or second and second last, third and third last etc.

@Sparkz_360 Aaroh has decided to join us as a 'floating' driver. If he is able to turn up tonight before 8:30, he'll substitute for Suts.

@Aaroh I think that Sparkz is using the AMG, so you'll be in the KTM.

Great news Suts. In that case, if Aaroh does turn up, he can substitute if anyone else doesn't get there, or if not he can just join in a KTM. However, if we don't have a single person missing, I think it'll be the first time that has ever happened in all the time I've been organising races.

We'll see.

It looks like it might not matter too much Sparkz. The whole PS network is down. It would seem that they didn't notice until around 7:00pm, and I'm guessing that such a substantial failure will take more than 90 minutes to get back up running...

I've got some access at the moment - I can hear @buybon355 steering with some vigour, but I'm apparently not actually in my own party. I haven't tried setting a lobby up though.

Edit: My lobby works. I think...

Ha, glad I checked here to see I'm not the only one. I normally have a rock solid connection and was surprised the console was acting up tonight.

It's Marcus Ericsson's fault.
