this ruins your experiance..... try to collect cars without duping... this ruined the whole Rare car& collecting of GT5..
 
Duping makes it a whole lot funnier expierience you get to expierience other cars without losing the one's you traded :D

ya, i didnt buy the game to grind indy 500,000 times. i bought the game to race and enjoy the different cars myself and with my friends. if duping somehow ruins YOUR experience..... dont do it. kinda like when a song YOU dont like is on the radio, DONT listen to it. if YOU dont like mcdonalds hamburgers, DONT eat them. its really pretty simple. just quit crying that other people do.

Ever since the GT series fixed the prize cars so you can only win them once, the rewards have been far less in worth than the effort put in to get them.
For those of us who have played GT since the first incarnation on the PSone, as exciting as it is to have a new GT, it's such a drag to start at the beginning every time. Grinding is no way to enjoy a game. I reached level 28 A-spec before I became involved with trading, and have enjoyed the experience so much more ever since. If not for duplicating and trading, I would have been over GT5 by now.
It's my opinion that if you're one of the people who are sour about the duplicating process, then it suggests to me that you are one of the sheep who say 'yes PD, you set the bar low and i'll crawl under it any day of the week.' If you hadn't spent such a ridiculous amount of time since GT5's release grinding for your personal stash of 'rare' rewards, then you wouldn't be so bitter about a community that share their rewards with others.
 
Can't understand the duping for multiple copies of a car, but love buying 1 new car every day for no cost and then driving it for the rest of the day!

Dupe once per day and enjoy the car properly versus grind all day to buy the same car and run out of time to play with it...

With 1000+ cars it will still take me 2-3 years to complete my collection, but every day is a race day with a new car!

Did you mean to say, "After an update, create a new backup save data to use in the future - do not use backup data from and old GT5 update to restore a later game version." (And, Did that make sense?)
 
So so many people dupe their cars now when trading so if I wasn't to do i'd feel as though I was missing out, I only found out about duping recently and my garage is now awesome thanks to it!

I don't think you get it. Duplicating things is basicly a fake version of something THAT WAS REAL.
We don't like grinding but thats what keeps us playing.
I BET that after a month you will get bored of the game because you got all the cars in the game and when showing off someone is going to see you are lvl 18 and driving a lvl 27 car and make a complete
fool out of yourself. Now really it's your choice but duping is not the way to go.

Chill out people can play this game anyway they want it's THEIR game not yours, why does it matter to you how other people expierience the game?
 
mate i aint gonna spend 12000 hours grinding for money, i have other things to do.
