Since I have been using my girlfriends brother in laws X-Box, she promised to get me one for christmas. Well looks like christmas came early. :dopey:

I have a couple questions.
1. How do you transfer the saved games from one x-box to another? Do I just get an x-box memory card?
2. How will I transfer over my x-box live?

1. Save what you want on a memory card goto the memory section of the main dashboard goto your memory card icon and click on the game with the saved and it will say "Copy".
2. Save your XBL GT on a memory card go and just do the same thing I said for step 1.

I wish Christmas can come early for me so I can get my PS2.

I forgot to mention that I swapped everything over with no problem. Just bought a memory card and swapped 1 or 2 games at a time. Even my online stuff swapped right over. Very easy.
My GF bought it and I think it was around $150 or $129 and came with 2 games. It also came with 2 months free x-box live that I am going to give to her brother in law for letting me borrow his X-box for over 6 months.
We actually sat the other day on the same X-box playing online. That was amazing and he doesnt even have an account but it let him join me anyway. I give the x-box a big 👍 for that. :)

I dont know if I would say it is worth getting over the PS2. I still play the PS2 way more than the x-box. So far im just not all that impressed with the x-box and ive played many of the recommended x-box games that the x-box fan boys stated were great. The x-box is way better than ps2 online and thats about it in my opinin.

I traded mine in, and am never going back. All the games are better, and if you have an internet connection, TRUST ME, it is WELL worth it. Every PS2 owner uses online as a "silly excuse". But it is PART OF THE GAME. If there is an online mode in a game and it sucks, like EVERY ps2 game, there should be points TAKEN OFF. it's something that PS2 owners are lacking in MAJOR. Online is like a whole added mode, like a carrer mode. If you cant play it decently, then you are getting ripped off. Now with my xbox, not only do I get a great single player game, but I can go online to a superb service that is light years ahead of anything else. Add this along with better graphics, controls (imo) and high def. plus DD support for every game......it is well well worth it.

imo, and some people I guess may not like me saying this, but the xbox is a better console for me. I prefer the games, 4 joy pad ports, built in ethernet, the hdd (mine being chipped has cool stuff on now :D), and certainly better graphics and sound. The xbox library is more american/ european, and tbh, I prefer having games like that. Games like halo 2, RSC2, kotor, riddick etc make it for me :). OFC others will prefer then ps2 games library (not that there's anything wrong with it), personal choice I guess :). I also find I use my xbox more as I drag it over the friends houses for big games of halo 2 etc, which the ps2 is frankly crap for.

I liked the Xbox when I first got it but then grew bored, however over time I've grown to like it more than the PS2. Games like RSC2 are great along with games like Fable etc. My enjoyment of the Xbox also went up when I invested £35 or so for a solderless mod chip (which I easily fitted myself) & bunged in a 120GB HDD :D

Only games I play on PS2 now are GT4 demos & The Getaway 1/2.

But that doesn't matter, since I use my PC more than both anyway :sly:

Put it this way, the Getaway 2 is an expansion pack really. All the faults of the original remain, the car handling is perhaps a little less random but still the same. Different story (with dubious plot) but alot easier than first (although stealth missions make a poorly-done reappearance), more civvie cars & inclusion of bikes, the frame rate is possibly worse than the first game (amazing I know!) & london has a few more short cuts.

Somehow I like the Getaway 1/2 dispite there many flaws, but maybe its just cause of the familar cars ;) I'd recommend playing a demo/renting/playing at a friends house before buying it, if you didn't like the first I doubt you'll like the second.

I loved the voice acting in the first, as well as the story. But damn, driving was a pain in the neck. Rental it is then.
