Easiest way to get an x1.

I got mine this morning by reaching level 35 on B-Spec. I tried the SV challenges but I have not passed any of them (I'm about 2 seconds of bronze on all 3 tracks).

B-Spec is the way to go, once you get to the endurance races after level 25 just keep your PS3 running whilst you are in bed/at work etc. and it will take about a week to reach level 35.

I have now let the B-spec boys loose in it doing the Le Mans 24 hour race and they had lapped the entire field after 4 laps LOL

Yes it's confirmed.

If you have a wheel for your PS3, do the lvl30 challenge, you should be able to complete it within 8 hours.

If you're using a dualshock, powerlvling B-spec to lvl 35 is a better option to avoid mental breakdowns. I managed to clear 2 of them with a dualshock, after wich my wife threatened to sell the PS3 due to me raging too much.

Thereby I'd suggest powerlvling to lvl 35 instead. Personal schedule:

1. Reach the 9 hour endurancerace, leave it on overnight.
2. Wake up, start a new 9 hour endurance, go to work.
3. Get home, start a 4 hour endurance, do IRL stuff.
4. Repeat from point 1.

At level 35 B spec the game gifts you the X1 or does it show up in the dealer?

I got it through A spec but I am curious about this B spec method.

It gifts you the X1. Huge popup when you return to the mainscreen. You then enter the deliverytruck and get it like any other car.

The game give you the car as a gift.

Which one does it gift?

I have the Red Bull S.Vettel one, a blue coloured production one and a prototype bare carbon model. I assume it gives you a coloured production model, or is it something unique?

8 hr? thats bad... and boring^^

but its hard... nürburgring gp 30 trys suzuka the same... monza about 10 times... monza is easy you get good money and xp there.. lvld from 21 a spec to 28

Though you had to be Lv30 to attempt it in the first place?

I think Seb Vettel challenge also unlocks at level 30 B spec, not just A spec. Golding the challenge sent me from low level 30 to mid level 34, thats millions of XP points.

Thats great news ,I'll be able to test drive it before I get my one for B-Spec 35 :)

It shows up at the dealer when you reach level 30 A-Spec or B-Spec and the challenge is unlocked so you can try to win it. For me it unlocked at level 30 B-Spec and I was level 28 A-Spec. The challenge was hard but after several tries on each track I got the X1 plus leveled up to level 30 A-Spec about 1/2 way or better to level 31 by getting bronze on all 3 events also netted about 3/4 mil credits. Much better than doing a endurance race in terms of XP, money and prize car.

The Red Bull Challenge isn't all that tough to be honest. It took me an hour to gold each event. The trick is to enable the skid recovery, no TCS and mild steering assist. You do that and it now handles like a formula car. The car will turn like you want it to turn and you can concentrate on the track and not how crazy the car is.

Also, always shift up before the redline and always downshift very fast. Only for really tight hairpins should you briefly completely let off the gas (as you get used to the car you will find you never completely take your foot off the gas).

Stay off the rumble strips as much as you can; if you get a tire on the grass, the whole car will just go wide into the grass.

You don't have to beat the Vettel ghost to win the gold's, just keep up with him. HTH

Oh ****, you too? I got myself an "Guess who's paying this months electricitybill dear?" due to that very reason.

He is actually slower than gold, he leaves a good time before you and to get gold I almost passed him on Nurb GP and got close on Suzuka. (wont even mention monza)

I never tried any steering assist as you mentioned I probably should have, I did use skid recovery, it didn't have that much of an effect but I left it on anyway.

The easiest way as has been mentioned is probably B spec 35 since it gifts you the car. And if you aren't a decent racer then it'd be hard to get it at level 30 through A spec challenge or B spec level 30 challenge since it unlocks apparently in both at level 30 but you have to work for it

Took me about an hour on Nurburgring GP, about 20 minutes on Monza and about 1 1/2 hours on Suzuka. I was down to where I missed it by .010 seconds at one point and then I had to leave when I came back I was off by 3 seconds again but after a few more tries I got it and have it parked in the garage :)

this seems like such an impossible task

is this realistic for me to attain in b-spec? as long as i keep leveling up my drivers and getting gold???
