I guess this is the side of my eight legged friends that I like, intrigues me and respect but there's no way in hell I'm gonna be up close. xD

He should put rubber on the bottom of the feet. I would like to see how it works on clay.

Quite nippy for a walking robot, which is technically what it is.

I was hoping it'd have spider legs similar to those on Loveless' version from the Wild Wild West film. lol

Draw glowing eyes on the outboard motor. Drive in reverse. Scare the bejesus out of people on Halloween.

Seriously, stick proper feet on it and let's see it off road. Great job considering the budget 👍

That's just some awesome engineering.

And persnally I love the sound of the feet on the tarmac, makes it sound even more robotic.

Oh, wow. I wonder, Is this a guy with far, far too much time on his hands, a prop for an upcoming movie, or a college engineering project? looks like it cost a pretty penny.

(oh, wait, Now, I turn speakers on. $3,000? wow!)

For a budget that low, thats pretty amazing. I'd agree with the rubber feet, but with the amount of drag I saw by all 8 legs, they'd be trash within feet of starting the thing.

They only drag during the turns. Anyway, that's why I said I wonder how it would work on clay or hard dirt.

Awesome sight. It's amazing why nobody else has done this... I mean, does anyone remember Zoids? They showed how complicated-looking movements can be mimicked by simple reciprocating mechanisms. This is what that guy has done... built himself a life-sized Zoid...
