The latest truck challenge stated that the vehicle had to have a truck bed. Why did PD leave out one of the greatest cars in automotive history. Let me hear your voices on what you would think of the idea of an El Camino in GT5!

It would be great. I'd love to have one. I'm not worried about it because I seriously doubt its going to happen.
 
I think it's a great addition, but I also think this would be better off discussed here :D

+1 to the El Camino and the Holden's being suggested. I'd also like to suggest this:

For those who dont know, it's a real M3 Ute. Not a photoshop. The only catch is, it's a one-off built by BMW for carrying parts.

someone on the BMW forums did this as well, he hacked up an e46 rear end and attached a pickup bed to it.. weird.. but interesting.

And while we're on the subject of awesome trucks...
GMC Sylcone/Typhoon, It needs to happen.
 
I read in the news, before the 'credit crunch', that GM and Holden were thinking of releasing the SSv ute as a new El Camino. Not sure what happened there.

Ford Typhoon for me though. Maybe ute racing. Bash and dash as they say.

Hey do you know who car that is in that pic, A buddy used to have one just like that , same paint job and just as nice. Had slots on it though. was a 396 4 speed car factory. He had a 427 in it. It was awsome and was from north of terre haute indiana

Do you mean holden? It`s the Australian subsidiary of GM. Like pontiac/buick etc. The late model GTO is actually a rebadged Holden, Google holden up. 👍

I live in Avon, Indiana. I see you live in Brazil, Indiana. I have no idea where the car came from since it was a google image search.

Would love to see an El Camino in the game. That '70 is a fine example. I think Muscle cars in general are sadly overlooked in the GT series. Would love to see some Boss and Shelby Mustangs, old and new, new 5.0 GT, Caddy CTS-V Coupe/sedan, Pontiac G8 GXP '70 Nova SS, '70 Plymouth RoadRunner, '69 GTO Judge, '79 Trans Am, '73 Trans Am 455 SD, New ZL1 Camaro.


Oh and all standard muscle upgraded to premium :D

This is true. It was going to be badged under the Pontiac name but GM shutdown that division. Sombody brought a UTE SS to Hawaii and was driving it around here for a while. I do not see it anymore. I'd love to drive that thing around with its LSX awesomeness under the hood.

Would love to see the FPV/Ford Falcon utes in the game, and the Utes used in the racing series over here!
