It has been asked for since the beginning of GT5s life. It would be a very fun track to drive on with the new physics and I bet it would look stunning with day to night transitions, like Apricot Hill.

Here's a video.

I really love this track. And I'd like GT to feature the three trails of Cathedral Rocks, which would mean new dirt tracks. (There are only 2 dirt scenarios)
It's also a great source of new championships (asphalt and dirt rallies)

El Capitan is awesome. Tricksy, over-crest, off-camber, low-grip stuff... just like a real, remote valley road.

Too twisty and technical, really, to be an arcade track. It's fast, yes, but you need a lot of finesse to get it right.

I just realized that not only is it a great track to drive (in GT4 anyway). Just imagine how good the scenery would be in full GT6 glory!

This track certainly worth a return to Gran Turismo. The most spectacular is that it includes and sectors from the dirt track of Cathedral Rocks. This makes it unique and distinct 👍:)

I really really had so much fun with this in gt4!
I'd love to be able to now race it with my pals online!!

There's actually a third variant, Cathedral Rocks Trail III, that is only available on GT PSP

El Capitan was in my top 3 track list for GT4. I was shocked/devastated when I found out it wasn't in GT5 and even GT6. The track was an awesome challenge for its uphill/downhill dynamics.

It was teased by Redbull instead in their TGS trailer back in 2010 :grumpy:
