Why does everyone post something like this? Just go look for the tips... this is my 10th one I've seen today geez......

Why not post a link to a thread to be helpful?

Or just try what you have.

I did the Le Mans not so long ago. I persuaded my brother to co-op me. To make a long story short, I was the McNish of the team ( I didn't crash :) ) and we changed every 2 hours, like in real Le Mans. In the end, we, using an untuned Audi R8 LMP, had a 1 lap lead

Seems like people are forgetting how to use the search function. I too have seen alot of duplicate/similar threads lately. On one occasion, someone started a new thread about a subject that was covered in another thread....on the same page, lol. All they had to do was scroll down a bit, lol.

Indeed, useless topics-a-lot galore.

There is no need to use caps and multiple exclamation marks.

Explain it to the guy in a calm, relaxed way. :)

I'm currently 7 hours in to le mans 24 (5 days) and I'm using the Mazda 787b. I'm only about a minute ahead of 2nd. It's probably going to take me like a month to finish but it's actually funner then expected.

But I love my exclamation marks. :(
They make everything better. :dopey:

Sometimes it's best to reduce your pace so you can preserve your tyres and stay out on the track longer. Reducing the amount of time spent in the pits will help move you up the grid. But I believe that there are so many other threads like this on GTP, so using the search button is useful.

I honestly think that the search button should be a huge button at the top of the screen so that newbies don't miss it and create duplicate threads.

Read the link in my sig. It will answer every question you have about 24h racing, about all the LMP cars and Group C cars as well as turn by turn instruction and setup tips. Take a look :)

This is from another thread about problems doing 24 hr races but I think it will be good advice for you too:

If you do a backup when stop you would be able to start from where the backup was done, say you did a backup at hour 4 and had a power outage at hour 7 you could load your backup and restart at hour 4. When I did my 24 hr races I did a backup at least every 2 hours. Also if you make a second account,if you don't have one,you can play on it if you don't want to do the 24 hour races.
