Just to let everyone know, this combo isn't that hard. The car tends to understeer a fair bit. So you shouldn't have problems with oversteer. Looks like another website has already had a competition here, so you'll get fast ghosts/replays straight away. Good luck everyone and enjoy.

The last race was very close as well. This race should be close too as TiZzla said.

Whew, so thankful this one wasn't at London too. With around 10 laps I'm currently 34th but I know that won't hold for long once you guys hit the track. Good Luck All!!! 👍

First run for me, up to 6th in the rankings. 1'20.297, Very tough when you first start, but you gradually pick up pace. This one could be very close.

most important things are the gears your in (since its so gutless) and using the kerbs to keep up speed through the huge corners

Yep. Though turn 1 use outside kerb, and through the last corner also use outside kerb. Stay in 4th through the last corner too. Hope this helps.

Hey, completed a 1'20.011 after first session.

Some notes, this car needs maximum exit speed as you cross the start line, around 207+km/h, not sure of the exact shifting point from 4th to 5th gear but i think its 220km/h, enabling you to maintain a speed of 234-235km/h as you exit the left sweeper.

A pretty technical combo indeed.

My first quick go and I got up to 50th in the rankings. Hopefully still more time to shave. 👍

Well, i'm glad Jinxstir isn't competing in this challenge........ he gets away with a huge slap of the wall on the final bend without penalty.

Yea i agree, as i said before the 'engine breaking' saves time too, thats the only reason hes set the fastest times.

Small improvement 1'20.170

lol whats with all the invalid laps?, only mine and mad's lap are clean.

GTP_Toivonen looks clean to me.

I did a .189 but touched the wall, pulled the plug so it wouldn't register. I then did clean .260 but replay wouldn't load on leaderboard. :(

Check again, last corner theres a touch on the wall.

I watched the lap 3 times there is a definate touch, any touch atall means the lap is invalid BTW.

I'm shooting for the #11 spot on all future events then so you can't see my replay. :)

I watched both mad's and marky's replays last night and they were very helpful for both this as well as the WRS 17 event at HSR. A few times last night I actually beat my best time but didn't move up on the leader board - there are some serious gaps from about 15 down to 30 and if you fall in there you may not move up unless you beat your best by a few tenths. I think I left off around 1'20.7xx last night and would like to get to 1'20.3xx before this one ends.

The easiest way to spot a close wall hit is turn the volume up to listen for it as well as watch the speedometer - we could always get one of the OLR Admins to check it because those guys are masters at spotting things in a replay.

Yes it will be very close i think, you will need about a 1'20.6xx to be in the points paying positions i think as it is a simple track with only like 9 corners so theres not alot of advantage for wheel over pad as there was at race1&2.

I will also try your method of turning up the volume.

On inspecting my lap...... it seems as there is a touch at the final turn late on exit, as the speed does drop, but there is no sound or noise to confirm it. On the external replay the car does not move like there has been a touch also...... i initially thought it may be the rear wheels riding back up the rumble strip....

I have no idea. Visually it looks like a touch, but registers no sound. I'd be pretty filthy if the lap was taken away.

I don't have the time to do a thousand laps like Marky to find 0.001, so i'll leave it up to the boys to decide. If they take it away then so be it.

Ripping, if you stay in the Top 10 i imagine you're gonna have to provide a replay yes?

You clearly touched the wall osrg, the rules state no wall touches so you cant complain, if you press square and x on watching your lap you see it quite clearly, if we allowed that lap it would be unfair so unfortunatly it wont be, touching the wall is around a 0.2 gain, although i watched your lap again you didnt gain a great deal, but a touch is a touch.

Haha you think i did a thousand laps? i probably done less than you, total of 38 altogether.

Im glad you got onto this, i knew everyone would be touching the walls.

You will just have to check all the top 10 replays.

I had a feeling Jinxstairs lap was invalid, to go from a 1'20.011 to .973 would require an immense improvment from my current best lap, it's just possible but rather unlikely, will be uploading a clean (close at the last turn) run on monday.

Yea a clean 1'19.xxx would take a specail lap but im surprised to be that close to you.
