BTW you didnt have to put your replay in your top 10 in the rankings and how do we watch the replay anyway? wont let you do it....

it doesn't say that anywhere in the rules now does it??..it says that everyone has to submit his replay in this thread!!...
there is allways the risk that one will be knocked out of the top 10 by the time one of the organisers want to check it,and than there is a problem!!!...

If you use your brains [if you have any] you wont be knocked out, neither will i.

I think i will improve anyway, twice i ran very close to my time with losing a big chunk at the end.

Anyway back to racing, i cant wait for round 5, although i still wanna improve if i can.

Spyrrari & Markyboy - Drop it now. Any issues you have with each other are not for this thread, or site.
 
Markyboy, I would have to agree with Spyrarri. We should all have to post, regardless of rank in the Time Trial its self.

BTW,

If someone zipped their replay, then you have to use the generic WINDOWS utility to unzip or a winzip or any other program

A flash drive is a USB stick that holds data. I have found it the easiest way to load data on and off the PS3

Thanx, I fixed up the bus stop section and also the exit just before T2, realised that you need to go high on the bank and drive it down, seemed to help with exit speed

I really like the view from the other video where the camera is above and behind the car - much better for reviewing to insure the car doesn't go off track. Any chance you could post your replay files in this thread? That way it will get converted into MPH for me as well and I can control the view and use it as a ghost to chase (and never catch). :)

EDIT: if you send your time in to mad or ripping_silk, then you have to post your replay in this thread for verification by someone - that's my simple interpretation of the current rules.

You must PM your time to mad94d or me (ripping_silk) to submit your entry.
You must post your replay in this thread for verification.

While your lap may be available online, this rule levels the playing field and makes the same rule for everyone.

The rule says:
Save your best lap replay, everyone will need to submit there replay at the end of each round for verification.(replays will need to be posted within 48 hours after deadline, replays are to be posted in this thread.)


If you really pull the current rules apart. They say you must submit your replay within 24 hours.
Later its says, "if asked" you must submit your replay within 7 days.
Further on it says you must keep your replay for two weeks.
These rule are ambiguous, and i will move to clean them up so they are clear and simple.

If I can reiterate:

1. You must PM (on GTPlanet) your time to mad94d or me (ripping_silk) to submit your entry. (by 2359hrs GMT 11 March 2009)
2. You (This means all entrants) must post the replay of your submitted time in this thread for verification. (by 2359hrs GMT 13 March 2008)

Again, these rules are here for everyone to follow.
The only thing that separates entrants here is their lap times.
As far as I'm concerned the guy that submits the slowest time is just as important to this series as the fastest driver. And they should each be following the same rules.

Thanks guys. It would make it a little easier on me if you included your time with the replay. You still need to PM it for official entry, but I can get a draft results table going if you post it here too.

Here's my replay file for verification..... hadn't had a chance all week to get a decent session in. Did about 25 laps in total, which is obviously nowhere near enough........

Improved by 0.007. Did some super fast splits but messed up bus stop. I'll have my replay posted tomorrow. Oh well, there goes the buffer I had in the points.

Ah that would be it for me too....improved about half a second so happy with that, so close to a few others but honestly can't get anymore out of it tonight :)

If someone is DQ'ed do the top 16 then shift accordingly so someone could move into a points situation where before they had none?
