Slight improvement for me, now up to 3rd. I'm losing at least a tenth through turn 1, I just can't get it right. There's no way I'll catch Dan's lap, it's just insanely fast.

good lap Madi-san...i improved to 5th...still messing up thoose last few corners..:)...

I improved a little bit, all I need is a solid run out of T1 and a good run off of T5 and I got a 46...Its so easy to make a mistake in this car..

oh, and GUESS WHO IS A PROUD OWNER OF A G25?
 
You I'm assuming? I think you'll get a 46.

Well, no, an time like last week is not possible with a controller. I think Timeattack told us that, seems he is the best controller player I've seen.

The second thing would be, I don't use the controller. I used the DFGT, but I just bought the G25 last night. Comment: You can feel how much better the G25 is from the DFGT.

Yes, it is good I am out here again, if this TT has taught me one thing, that is to be more patient. Seems how I am a determined individual, I cant give up and talk away with 10th in points. I got to lay down a top 5.

Nice, so you're saying you notice a difference between DFGT and G25? I was thinking of getting a G25 but then just thought that the DFGT is good enough, plus i'm used to it.
 
I feel the difference, and see the differences in quality.

The peddles are actual metal, not plastic.
The brake peddle is hard as hell to push down.
The throttle peddle helped me control the throttle better, which is why I improved my time last night.
The wheel is very very smooth.
The wheel is more responsive.
FFB is the same.
And you can actually shift 1-6, but its different and hard to do quickly.

After one day, 9/10 for the G25
After 7 months 6/10 DFGT

I think you could improve your times mad, seems how the G25 is much smoother. I tried it with the F2007 last night, wow, the difference in how the G25 reacts to the forces of that car. Much smoother. :) and Easier to corner the bus stop.
 
i do believe it when you say the g25 is better,but mind you buddy...Holl01 uses a DFGT too.....so if the g25 is faster i seriously doubt...

i am fine with the DFGT for now...hoping for a new G25 with a better shifter(read:less plastic...)at the time gt5 comes out...

We've had this discussion before. There is no such thing as a "faster" controller. Fast guys are fast no matter what controller they use.

The G25 is better than the DFGT, not neccessarily faster, but it is better.

The G25 is not faster. Its what I can do with the G25, which makes me faster. I agree.

Racers, 24 hours (just over) left to submit your entry for this round.

Remember to submit your time in PM to me (ripping_silk) for entry.

And post (to this thread) the replay of that time within 48 hours of the event end with a format something like: ripping_silk-1.48.444.zip

Results will remain provisional to at least 48 hours after event close.

If you want to assist in the replay checking and your not sure who to check, check the driver who is ahead of you in the event.
10th checks 9th, 5th checks 4th etc.
The more entrants that do this, the easier it is for us (and thats never a bad thing!).

What sort of car for the next combo? FWD or AWD?

I vote for AWD (im hoping its the R35, R34, or R8)

As for the ferrari i haven't spent to much time on this combo im about a second from 100th place after running some laps today and a few when the combo was first posted
 
Im guessing its eiger next?, only track we havent done.
 
I like Eiger, perhaps with a fun car.. :)

Next combo is likely to be at eiger with an AWD car, need to do some more testing as the next round is very important. DOUBLE POINTS!

Not a good idea for a double points round. I'm thinking that it should be race 7 or 8.
