I finally bought it last Friday
I played for around 15 mins and switched back to GT4

First, the graphics....just not look as real as GT4. But compare with other racing game, it's above standard already.

Second, the sound...the engine sound is too low I have to turn on the speaker really loud to hear....

But the feel of tire contact seems a little better than GT4, especially from dead start.
And I hate the part that you can't install parts/fine tune your car.

God damn ! Street price of the game is now HK$270 (~US$35), I bought it at HK$370 (~US$48) when it was available and thought it was reasonable.

does Enthusia have any F1 cars?
I don´t think so.

And now that I have played it for some time, I think that its simulation ain´t THAT real. I raced the R390 on Nurburgring it was pretty easy to control it, even when I went to the grass. Not very realistic, although very fun to drive.

I think that Enthusia´s simulation is something in between Toca 2 and GT4.

And spoony, my Driving Revolution also ended at level 18, I guess that´s it. Now I´ll try to get all "S" on it. And level 18´s tests were pretty fun, I have never tried to drift before, it´s cool. :)

I just watched a Best Motoring lap of the nurburgring in an evo 8, and the driver's technique showed he was not extremely familair with the car or track... or something because he was wobbly on some of the turns. but he still got an 8.11 which is pretty good. If a professional driver finds an evo 8 a tricky car to drive at super high speeds on the ring, is it tricky in Enthusia? because its pretty damn easy in GT4.

I finnally finished driving revolution in 100% = All levels passed as S. It unlocked all cars I Think, and we have... 211 cars :)

I gues it is time for you to start typing and give your fellow "Enthusiasts" :D the Enthusia Car List.

Please .... :)

Anyone tried the new Mini in Enthusia?
I know it is FF car, but you will underestimate this car
once you know how to slide a FF car in the corner, you are god with this car
at level 3 tuned up, I already able to beat Viper GTS at Paris course
the only car I lose is FC3S so far

Yeah, I like the Mini very much for races in RIII or lower. Then I stick with my Accord Euro R (CL1), also a FF.

WOW did you see the NEW screens and video on the pfficial website????

M1 Procar
M3 "Batmobile"
S600L
'73 Trans Am
Dauer 100 (Formally known as Bugatti EB100)

But a Chevy Astro?
And no C5 or C6?

FIRST IMPRESSION (JPN version)
I played this a few days ago thanks to a good friend. Thanks bro.
I like the fact that you win cars that you race against. I think I went thru about 7 or 8 of the challenges with the gates. It is a really fun game so far and if I could read half the stuff im sure it would be more enjoyable.
My favorite 3 parts are the SP gauge, the overhead of the car that shows exactly what the tires are doing, and the setting adjustments.
1. The sp gauge is a gauge of your driver. When you hit people or the wall that gauge lowers. When you win races it increases.
2. Overhead diagram of car. This is on while you drive and its small enough not to interfere with the driving. This basically shows the amount of stress you place onto every tire of the car. The more stress on the tires the more red they become. If you turn a corner and start burning one of the tires it will start turning red then when you let off it will go back to white indicating the stress has been removed from that tire. Very cool IMO.
3. The setting adjustments are sick. It shows exactly what will happen to your car in response to understeer and oversteer as you adjust your springs, suspension, and all the other settings. You will basically know the characteristics of your car before you even go to the track. This is very very nice.
That is all for now until I get into the game more.

Just had the change to play Enthusia with DS2. ==> NSX, Tsukuba. It is definetely harder than GT4. Graphics are fine but not as good as GT4

I must say that Enthusia with its splendid physics totally ruined my GT4 playing experience... Unfortunately, a small amaunt of good tracks (there are only 3, IMO) in Konami's racer pretty much limits my Enthusia playing experience... Then, a lack of an xbox completely destroys my Forza playing experience (though i guess the lack of a DFP support would ruined that also)... Bummer...

Read somewhere that there is a "EPR code"??? To unlowk 100.00.000 credits??
:boggled:
Up, Up, down, down, left, right, left , right, B, A, start

Don't understand??? Ans What is or where can I find B and A??

I think some Konami geek might bee playing a joke on you. All you NES vets like me must recongise that as the super code for Contra.... u guys remember Contra for the Nintendo?

If that code does work then Konami must suck at making codes to keep using that same button combination over and over. :P the B was to the left of the A on the nintendo controller so maybe sqare,X start, or sqare circle or something.... :dopey:

:dopey: haha indeed the old days.., but IF you get the credits... what then.. hehe nothing to spend, well maybe you can do some drive by´s in contra style :) :scared:

what a great game this is, it will be hard for me to step back in Gt4,
its so much fun and smooth control, i love it.. but i play with the Dfp i like that more than a ds but a ds also works good, the only thing i dont get is when can i enter races and win racecars.. im ranking 590 about now, well it will happen eventually.

grtz

Just before the last chicane, there is a bill board across the Suzuka (GT4) track which says "Konami ". Isn't Konami the developer of Enthusia Professional racing"?? And isn't EPR the, so called, GT4 killer?? So why is GT4 advertising for their competitor???

Becuase Konami actually has billboards on that track in real life.
