Like, what kind of GUIDE?

Oh, and if you put my record on your RECORD TEXT page, could you please put my e-mail as brandogca@hotmail.com , and not the e-mail address I e-mailed you from?

Thanks.-Josh

THAT LIST WAS PROVIDED BY IGN.com

If you e-mail me and tell me EXACTLY what you will want to put on the GUIDE page, I'll give you all the answers.

I can give you info on just about EVERYTHING GT3 related.

Oh yeah, that big list I just posted, is on the GTPlanet website on the home page. It was posted by Altf8 originally.

Quote: from dayboy2k1 on 7:11 pm on July 29, 2001[br]i'll give credit to both of you. Altf8 for originally posting it and u for showing me it.

Don't forget about IGN.com. :D

Ya, if you e-mail me and tell me what you want on your site under GUIDE, I'll give you all the info you need. Anything from EVERY car's HP Weight torque, power to weight ratio, height, and stuff like that. I can give you info on how many turns each track has, there lenght in miles. Basically anything, just e-mail and ask if you wanna know.

all of that would be fine but i'll sort it all out in the morning because i'm going to bed now 12:31pm in england. i'm too tired. can everyone try and keep this topic near the top. thanks to everyone who has helped so far.

If it gets too low on the front page I'll give it a lil' bump so it stays up towards the top.

Hold on a sec, and I'll post 'em, or if ya want I'll PM you my setup.

1. Have a car with OVER 1000 HP. Like the Escudo, GT-one race car, or R390 GT1 Race car.
2. Equip the highest stage turbine kit or NA tune possible.
3. Decrease spring rate to the smallest possible value for both front and rear.
4. Decrease ride height to the smallest possible value for both front and rear.
5. Set the gear ratio's auto setting to the highest level possible.
5. Set the gear ratio's final gear to about 2.6XX or3.XXX
6. Decrease the front downforce to the smallest possible value.
7. Increase the rear downforce to the largest possible value.
8. Set ASM to level 0.
9. Set TCS to level 0.

BTW, I was in the Escudo when I hit 1151.5mph.

Oh yea, I almost forgot. After you set a car up like that. Take it to the Test Track. If you do the MAX SPEED test track, make sure you go around it in REVERSE direction, this way you can go around as many times as you want without having to finish. After you hit about 230mph the front of the car lifts up and you start accelerating insanely fast.

i wasn't the one who done it so i don't have any tips but josh came close to that so i'll ask him what he done and i'll get it put up on my website

I can hit 829Mph in the Escudo, but i didnt have the same settings as Josh. I had my springs tighter, that way i could take the turn at around 240- 250 instead of 205-215. Anyways, im working hard to get over 1000

Quote: from jervinator on 10:24 am on July 31, 2001[br]I wonder what the fastest LEGIT speed to date is....

How are they NOT legit? We didn't use ANY cheats, and we have pics...

he probably thinks that they have been edited in a picture editing program. if that is it get a picture from ign and edit it to show 7000mph and if it looks real i would believe it

I don't know why man.

Try this:1.

If you do that to your car, you can reach speeds i upwards of 1200 mph. That's how I set my car up, and was able to get 1151.5.

It takes a while, but it's worth it...

You're welcome man.

I'm pretty sure when I got over 1000mph mine was set up just a tad different than what I posted, but I can't remember...
