Not surprised he gave the nod to the TS500.
CSR is just a reskin, although I would like the improved paddles for my GT2.

Pretty sure the CSW will at least be on a par if not better.

Good times for wheel users also a good guide for those looking to get started in wheel peripherals.

In fairness a company that big probably has to stick to rrp unlike something small time like me.

Pretty decent report for the average consumer. Fails in key areas though for me and it just isnt looking at wheels maybe the way some of us do.

"The CSR Elite pedals, meanwhile, are a suitably sturdy fusion of aluminium and plastic base. It's not the aesthetic mini-masterpiece that is Fanatec's class-leading ClubSport set and at 4.3kg it loses a little something to its cousin's 5.1kg, but that doesn't stop it offering the same comprehensive horizontal, vertical, pedal throw, and resistance adjustments, as well as some impressively accurate performance. "

and owners will no doubt point out the fact they can use the €50 they saved to purchase the optional CSR Pedal Inversion Kit for that true GT car feel.

Do the CSP have the same degree of "comprehensive adjustments" as the CSRE, particulary when considering the "Inversion Kit"?

While not a criticisim, it seems he hadn't got this when doing the review as it gets no real coverage. Obviously the reviewer isn't aware of the extra "adjustments" the inversion kit brings and the additional strength it provides to the plastic base. All making a decision if anything on which pedals to purchase more difficult.

What is your role within Thrustmaster Wildrun. 8^)

Beta test with free samples = Fanboy :sly:

To return at this topic, real price of products (and not original Manufacturer SRP) is very important if you want to compared them.
On this review CSR + CSR Elite pedals have current price but T500 RS have the old price.

I had to laugh at your comment.
If anything, your GT2 is just a reskin, the CSR has more improvements or changes than ANY Fanatec wheel since the GT3RS first appeared.

Glad you found it funny.

Look forward to finding out why it's a brand new wheel.

You recommend buying the inversion kit to reinforce the product?

The CSP is sturdier in the traditional setup.
When I say traditional I mean the way most pedals come as stock.

Your welcome to show me where I said it was a NEW wheel. As for the pedals, I made a factual comment not a recommendation and certainly didn't make reference to buy the kit for that reason.

Best to wait on people's reports on the forums for a more detailed look.
