I'm not that good of a driver either, but I still beat "Mission 34" in GT4!

And I hope "Planet GT" (Do you mean GT Planet???) would create some servers with "invitation only" lobbies for the GTP users.
 
Shame they didn't speed it round the 'ring, just a photoshoot. It would also look ALOT better with 16 cars! lol

How much did you beat mission 34 by? I beat it by 14.2 seconds! it wasn't the hardest mission as far as i'm concerned, I reckon that 3 lap battle around Laguna Seca was.

About the GTPlanet invitation servers, it would be pretty cool, we colud all get a PM with that week's password or somthing, then we could race against other pros, and just have fun maybe with friends.

Oh by the way, Yeah password secured Servers.. It would be great if GTP could make more then one server. Few servers for rookies, and few for Professionals, and One for Championship races. Now that would be awesome.
 
I am so excited, In GT5 you will be able to create fan clubs, so each week two of best Drifter Clubs could compete!
It would be great if Host could tape the replays and show it to us. :)
 
Does anyone know if the versions of the F2007 will have driver specific helmets? Say for example if I pick the no.5, will the 'driver' have Massa's helmet, and the same for Raikkonen if i pick the no. 6?

sound of game is simply fantastic when sound-setting "Big Theatre" is applied. Notice it will properly work only for those with true surround system, but then GT40's engine sounds like AC/DC in Donnington on Monsters of Rock in 1990,

Yeah, it is a shame the F2008 isn't there.
But I would like to have all the 2008 F1 cars in the "final" GT5. Just think of it. Every Saturday, a F1 race would be held on the "About to be raced" race track, with 2 drivers on each team until the end of the season!

I think I beat it with about 2 secs. or somethin'. I'm glad that they kept the missions also.

Anyways, alot of great suggestions to online races are coming up here. Keep it up!👍

I agree that all F1's should be included and all the tracks but it adds a lot more "workload" on PD's hands already, one thing at a time guys :P
 
I'm still wondering how many cars GT5 will have, if you recall the transition from GT2 to GT3, GT2 had somthing around 500 cars, and GT3 only had around 300-400.
GT4 has about 730 if you've completed the game, unless Poly had a bigger team AND work harder, I couldn't see it having more, but all these new cars already seems to tell another story.:)
 
GT3 had about 190, nowhere near 300-400.

Its like a pattern:
PS1: GT1-160ish, GT2-590. Massive increase.
PS2: GT3-190ish, GT4-730. Massive increase.
PS3: GT5-???, GT6-900+?

Althoug I did hear the 800-900 numbers floating around for GT5, and I heard GT5 will have evry car thats in GT4.
 
I would point at about 500 cars to be in GT5. And I hope theres gonna be some new real tracks (F1 series tracks would be much apreciated), and also some new custom tracks made by PD (I loved El Capitan and Chamonix in GT4... Ooo ooo, and don't forget Trail Mountain! My all time favorite PD-made track)

I hope amar212's next update comes in not to long.

I almost forgot Red Rock Valley! (It's about a billion years since I played GT2) That track would have been my favorite track if it wasn't for Trail Mountain. How nostalgic it would be to have it in GT5

Can't be long before we get next update, since Amar212 is currently reading through this thread... Yay

I hated the 2 hour Rome race in GT2 (*Pauses* *goes to toilet* *comes back* *accidently hit exit 1 and a half hours into the race* Happened 10 times before I won the race)

It's because you don't have enough posts yet. I couldn't have my own avitar until I got to like 200 (senior member I think).

You can put up a custom avatar if you have had over 50 or 100 (I think its 50) posts its available on the change avatar menu in your profile options.
