Speaking of gamma, I just found this pic and don't know if it's been posted before (too many unread pages to check).
It shows perfectly what amar means by improved gamma correction while driving in-car. He's totally right, looks much better than the Japanese version.

TVR cockpit?
 
Yeah I can see eyes in the brightened shot but not on my monitor with the normal one...

Isn't the driver meant to be modeled on KY?.... He has a replica sparco suit that he drives in like the one in the game...

EDIT - Yes thats a TVR cockpit, I love the dials and the detailing of the dashboard texture..

They realy made the london track brighter. I never used it in the JP prolouge because it was way too dark but now i'm gonna use it for shore.
 
How many of you guys actually have this now. Just curious because 2 or 3 of you seem to know the details along with AMAR.
 
I love the cockpit view and use it whenever possible, but find on some tracks its to damn dark so if they have fixed this i'll be well happy :).
 
Bit of a photobucket glitch there guys......I may have to redo them but here see if these are ok? if there not let me know and I'll get on it!

nah I can save them to 1290X180 to photo bucket but as soon as I post them here they revert now to 1020X600 or so? any ideas guys? I'm running in 720p and these images look sharp on my HDTV..........guys running 1080 may not be so lucky, I'll look at it, in the mean time anyone with any ideas let me know. Oh and Amar.....I'm drooling here, give it up we need the next update LOL

If you can upload them to Photobucket at full resolution, just post the image URLs that they provide, or failing that, let us know where we can get the even larger full-size images and I'll re-size them.
 
Photo bucket makes images bit smaller.. maybe try other website.. I know this beacues each time I post pics from my camera.. at highest resolution photobucket makes it smaller.

Congrats on 1000!... any many more hopefully :)

Yeah they have even bothered to do the eyes, its something other devs think "oh well he's wearing a helmet so lets make the visor reflective and not bother".... but not PD!

Just looked at uploading the 3 images to photobucket....Over 15 meg! might bugger up the thread a little if I did this so I'll take pity on those with slower conections LOL look anyone fancy hosting them? I can e-mail the correct sized images images

I have all the cars & 100,000,000 credits on my Japanese GT5P so if the update for the Japanese version comes out when the EU version is released I can have some track time with the F2007 before I have to start from scratch with the North American version.

If you load them up, just post the URL as a text URL so we can just download the image from the site. There will be no hit to GT Planet at all that way.
 
What we have to do is to have 100.000.000 and as many cars as possible, so when the update comes, sell them all and get the F1 and the F40 right away....:crazy:
 
Hang on just had an idea, I'll host them on my forum, it's an airsoft forum guys so close your eyes if your scared of toy guns LOL, give us a sec I'll host them there and post a link then you can just grab them off there

Jordan, could you guys please put a tab across the top near "News" "Forums" "Guides" "TV"? It would make it so simple for us to get to the gallery. I posted a thread about this a couple of weeks ago. I suppose it died off.

Unless, one knows the web address to the gallery, I don't see a way to get to the gallery.
