Sorry for quoting myself... Again... But I would really like to know!!! Those with the Japanese version should know (And since alot of you have it, it's bugging me that no one has answered yet)(No offense)
I don't have any version, and I know that you cannot use custom soundtracks in Prologue. Not that I'd ever consider using such a feature as I rarely listen to my own music in the car anyway. I always listen to the radio, so there's an idea of PD to take away - figure out how to put a radio in each car that we can tune into real live radio broadcasts over the web.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but does anyone know if there will be a free downloadable demo on the PSN of prologue. I know there was one in November which I missed but will there be a new one to coincide with the new release??

An answer would be much appreciated Thanks.

The official Prologue release for PAL users is available for purchase on the PSN in 9 days. The US.. a month later. At this point, it would almost seem pointless. I doubt this will happen.

Not sure... I wouldn't release one if I were SONY.

I didnt think there would be one, I just dont want to shell out the money for prologue until I know when the full game will be released so a demo would have been cool but slightly pointless. Living in hope :D

Amongst the thousands of questions asked, let’s tackle a few to start: first, this is indeed the Scuderia Ferrari F2007; second, that is the actual Ferrari red as sanctioned by the Ferrari team; and last but not least, the Ferrari F2007 will be available at all Gran Turismo Ferrari dealerships for 2 million game credits. ALL dealerships all dealerships!!!!!!!! KEY WORD IS ALL!:):):):):)

That demo from last year was anounced weeks (months?) before it came out, so I don't think there will be one since I haven't heard anything of the like. And by the way, there are no stupid questions, just stupid answers. Although some questions might have been posted elsewhere (not your one I believe).

Don't know if this is what you ment, but could sond like an update for the Japanese version of the game :)

Full GT5 will not release, in Europe certainly, until 2009. Likely to be the same for US as well, so shelling out for Prologue is a non-issue for me. What IS a bit of an issue for me is just how much of your hard-earned cash and cars you'll be able to transfer over, if any, to the full game once you get it. As great as it is, I don't want to have to re-race things over again just get to a similar starting point. I just hope something is announced soon in relation to what we get for our money, besides an early playtest.

That would be great if you could transfer the data over to GT5 from prologue and that is quite probable. I agree it would be very annoying if after playing for ages to get a particular car for instance (a certain one springs to mind :D), only to have to start all over again with no money and a pants license.

With GT4 Prologue, I believe you could transfer over SOME of the cash you earned to the GT4 save, but that was said to be more than enough to give you a head-start. Even if again, you can only move so much money, and maybe a few select cars, at least you get something for your money and efforts. Herein lies the problem - after playing GT5P to death, just how much are you going to crave GT5 when it finally launches?! Not as much as if you had waited I can tell you that!

That is exactly why I want to see a demo of prologue come out, so you can play it without spoiling and consequently getting tired of the game before it has come out. No doubt prologue will be great and alot better than many full games, but I feel that if I play prologue too much then GT5 would not make me wet myself with excitement the day it comes (however long away that may be).

Until you see the extra cars extra tracks extra options and you realize that Prologue was just to whet you appetite for the main course

You could transfer 100.000 Cr. from your GT3 save game and some licenses from GT4:P

I'm sure PD will have some very nice surprises for the full ver. for all of us to get excited about the game all over again. Look at what happened when Amar212 shared with us the new content in the EU/US ver, most of us all got re-excited about the game. I've been playing JPN ver of GT5P ever sinces it's release and I'm really excited about playing with the new content.

I'm pretty sure i will do too, if i recive my copy of gt5p

but isnt that the best way to spend time in gt5p if you feel like you're wanna do something else than just racing. ?

Yes but i'm not sure if I want to risk ruining the excitment of the full game. Obviously I am addicted to GT, as we all are but no one really knows how different the full game will be. It may be completely revamped, damage and all or it may just have more cars and tracks. For me, just having more cars and tracks wouldnt excite me as much as I would like, and that would be greatly dissapointing. On the other hand, waiting so long for a game could get depressing. Thats were Prologue comes into play. It would keep me happy until the full game.

AAAAARRGGHHH Kaz we need some release dates!!

well fireface,

Even though if pd , ''only'' add more cars and tracks,
I'd be very satisfied! , all other stuff as tiremarks and damage , is just cool to be there , if not it dosn't matter to much to me! , but well.
again That's just me.

Who am I kiddng eh? I'll end up getting Prologue for sure, now whether that's as soon as I can, or later on after I've given Everybody's golf a good play, who knows?!

Yep, that's it. I know it was along those lines! ;) Cheers.

You're going through similar turmoil to me, but I'll end up getting I'm sure. I can't see my playing it constantly until GT5 releases anyway, as other games will come out to take up my time.

Look at it like this.

Could you really stand coming onto GTPlanet and reading the posts about how much fun we are all having playing GT5P to death.

I know I couldn't

Neither could i ,
Well, if i had , lets just say the f1 2007
and didnt feel like racing to much,
i'd bug some people here to come race with me , hehe,

@Jase72 , mind if i add you ? .

thanks for replying about the tyres Amar.

I never knew in the japanese version you had to heat them up, and this leads me to my question.

can the tyres overheat, or once they are warmed do they keep to there optimum temperatures?

exactly.. I bought GT4P at the time it was released and I wasn't dissapointed at GT4 when it came!

Imagine full Nürburgring (wich I hope and belive PD is puttin in there) and Top Gear Track!

Ahhhh, the Top Gear Test Track, can't wait for that one. I hope they place all of the virtual cameras so that the replays mimic the series too! I also hope that they post the times that STIG got in the various cars so we can time-trial against him!

*Shudders*

It's true. After a while I would start crying myself to sleep. Aaah why to PD give us such painful situations. Damn those brilliant, fantastic geniouses. I guess i'll eventually give in and buy the game, and I could just make sure not to endlessly play it. Theres always Call Of Duty and Resistance to name a few distractions.
