I like your work !

I would like to have tune for HSV used for all other circuits.
If you have already done, can you redirect me to the post because I did not find it ?

In advance thank you!
It hasn't been retuned as yet for other tracks. I shall add it to the list for a retune asap. :)

SHAUN SAID.....

Oh yeah, We had new seasons early this morning. I don't spend as much time on my own tunes for this garage as I do for FITT tunes. I can usually work out a tune that is good enough for career races or seasonals fairly quickly. Thats the only reason I find the time to do as much as I do.
Excellent job. I love the pictures too, very cool shots. Hope the mustang tune goes as smoothly,[/QUOTE]

BADGER SAID....

Thanks mate...i really did enjoy tuning that Focus....the Mustang on Big Willow isn't so easy...but it's starting to come together now...i've got the weight, power, suspension and transmission done...i'm just fine tuning it. I had nearly finished it last night...but had a problem with speed..i set it up without supercharger first because i liked the sound better plus it gave me 616bhp and i got a really nice tune going and it was cornering lovely...but i found it was to slow on the straight...so i added supercharger to see what it was like...it only gave my 591bhp but it was much faster on the straight....but handling was terrible ...i think due to the extra torque coming from the supercharger...it was like driving it on glass....so had to rethink settings...and now the car is nearly done....i've had to change it because i was loosing about a 1 sec at least...i know this car is not as fast has the other 2....but i am glad i have tuned it.. it really was a hard one to get right due Weight balance like you said..and it made it worst i think on this track...but a real challenge on here...... i really like this car at love the sound...well i did until i had to put on the supercharger....lol...:)

I am going to have a look at the GT500...when this is done....

Hi @Badger66 :) I'm sure the new Monza Event is easy for you mate .... i remember your Times with your 700 PP Cars collection at the former Le Mans Event

Hi Stranger...how you doing mate...hope all is good...i will have to have a look at this one after i've finished my other tunes...sounds great i love Monza and the LMP's cars...how you been getting on with it mate...you been getting some good times...

Sorry Shaun i dont know what i did with the top of this post...so i had to improvise...lol

Picking the odd car out can often work in your favour.. I was the only person to pick a Mini Cooper S '11 when FITT ran a hot hatch competition, it wasn't the fastest in the bunch but if you can get the handling right, it can often be a underdog and place quite high... The GT500 is very balanced and can be fast with the right set up, It depends on where you compromise speed for comfort, I favour the latter but end up with a car that is there or there abouts when it comes to overall pace.

Just so you know, this car has been adapted to use for other tracks. I tested it on Silverstone and it was easily getting sub 2min laps without breaking a sweat. Enjoy :)

Based on experience, cars which are fast but ice skaters score well but can be hit and miss with some testers.. It all depends on their driving style. Balanced cars consistently score high but very rarely win unless they are the fastest car in the bunch too.. Sometimes taking a risk is a good thing, testers will see that and may not deduct too many points but it can sometimes backfire if they can't keep it on the track.. If I were submitting a tune, it would always be a balanced tune. For example, I am working on a 550PP SS LFA Nurburgring Package and have decided that although I can make an alien car which will be uber fast, I prefer losing 2 seconds a lap and having a car which I can consistently drive at that time. I use the same principal for FITT cars, whatever I can drive consistently is the car I submit.

It really is up to the tuner to decide which is the best car for testers to drive around. Always think about testers when doing FITT challenges, they are the ones who score your ride :)

Good point...i know my tunes won't ever be as fast....with me driving them as they will be with the testers...so i will finish both types for this car and have think about it.....when i'm done do you mind having a little test with them...and tell me what you think...cheers for the advice mate....👍

EDIT...only if you have the time mate...

I can certainly give them a drive and let you know what I think. No problems at all.

Keep this car on the tarmac and you'll get gold very easily on the 580PP Lexus seasonal. Without pushing this car and having a bad first corner, I got a 1.33.4xx.

Thank you so much! Can't wait to try it out. Is the LFA lap supposed to be hard? I spent a whole 30 minutes at the damn thing and still ended up silver...
The LFA super lap should be easy now. The LFA '10 is the easiest tune to get gold with, the LFA Nurburgring Package '12 is slightly looser but it should be quicker if you hook a good lap up.

I am making the most of this week as my three years studying nursing at uni really kicks in next week. I am going to find myself quite busy again very soon. I hope you enjoy the new tunes. The BMW Z8 '01 at 500PP SS is like a giant go kart, its really good fun, the 550PP SS version is epic, a very fun car which is also a soft top :) Bonus really.
