So.. After running a few of the "big boy" cars yesterday i managed to gold it with 4 cars. Sauber C9 was a tricky one to say the least. Had to be very precise on the exits to not spin out.

Then there was the "green beast", the Bentley speed 8, not quite as tricky, but it did however make me sit on eggshells.

Audi R8 was solid as a rock through the whole event, almost boring.

And last, but not least i ran the Pescarolo C60.. That car is an absolute loon.. It's stupidly fast and hell bent on destruction. Relax for a second and it WILL try to kill you..

I haven't been able to push through with the 787b Stealth i mentioned earlier in this thread, but i'm gonna give it a few more runs. It should be possible if i can manage to get close enough to use the slipstream of the first car.

I really like the challenge PD provided us with this event.

Anywho..

Race on my fellow GTP'ers.

I won today with the Bentley also with 90 kg Ballast and high rpm Turbo. :)

At last Guys....Gold with the Bentley...I'm sooo Happy with this one as i tried so many times:) Thanks for the input Chris and well done Pete for putting the idea in Chris's head for the high turbo:) i used the high turbo and Ballast, but changed it to 50kg and got 700pp...914bhp. I used F10 R10 on the brakes and changed my steering to 7 which really helped on the tight corners:) laps times were 3.28...3.28:)
Also i found if you pick the race with top 3 cars are the Sauber merc..Evo and XJR its seems a little easier:)
sorry i had to post the pic of the win but i was so happy to get this at last..thx again guys:)

I also like this Event. I run it 20+ Times with 5 Wins and the payout for 2nd Place (240 k) 3rd (200 k) is not bad so i got a few Millions Credit so far

i gave up on the Mazda....i think i wore out the engine and my thumb with that one...lol:)
I also tried the XJR and this car is very fast on the straights but just couldn't control it enough though the bends:(
Well good luck with the Mazda:)

In free run mode, this car was running 1.52s around Suzuka without breaking a sweat. Very nice car and supremely fast.

Just tested on 700PP Spa A Spec Seasonal and came 1st in my first attempt. This car has a lot of grip and a lot of speed!

Tested on A Spec willow springs. It is a little tight on the front but take it easy and drive this car sensibly and it will give you the win very easily. Alternatively, if you don't get on with this setup, I have been told that if you take the 600PP SS version, detune to 550PP and use the original settings, that tune is capable of 1.18s and a easy win too. Basicly, you have 2 options at 550PP with the same car to suit your driving style.

Edit: I have fine tuned this car a little more. In free mode, I had this car running 1.18.5s - 1.19.5s consistently. Its still a little tight but this stops the rear end from sliding out from underneath you on the long corners which cost me time if I used the detuned 600PP version.

Another one bites the dust:) Toyota Minolta 88C-V 89...Gold La Sarthe seasonal 24/07/14 700pp...I tried this car about 8 times on the first day of this seasonal but could only get 3rd:( but on the first try with the High turbo and added 50kg ballast... Gold:) you get 700pp..1028bhp and weight 900kg brakes 10 10..steering 7 and .Auto gear box set to 255mph this car becomes Awesome for this curcuit..on top of Praiano's wicked tune:)
I'm finding that this combination is doing it for me on cars i was struggling with before on this seasonal:) Now for the Mazda...Hopefully...lol

This tune is Awesome on nurburgring 600pp seasonal 24/07/14.
just increase power to 600pp all other settings as tune..This car is very fast and just eats up the corners. The most enjoyable drive so far for this race...thanks Shuan:)

Gold on La Sarthe seasonal 24.07.14 with the peugeot 908 HDi Fap Base Model '10..Praiano's tune..but had to adapt it to this race...High turbo and 70kg ballast..you get 700pp...860bhp weight 1000kg...Downforce 600 850.
Brakes 10 9...Abs 1 steering 7 and braking sensitivity 16

Now this one guys has made me extremely Happy because this car is the underdog compaired to the other cars when it comes to power and weight for this seasonal.

Also very happy to win with this after getting 2nd 5 times and being knocked off the track on each occasion also being 1sec,2 sec twice and 4sec behind at the finish ) The team Peugeot version was my favourite LMP race car

The diesel Peugeot is a torque monster. A real test with a DS3 & no traction control.
Have a couple of shots of bravery & try the old 905 if you dare or is that just asking for misery? It's a demon on the brakes but might suffer a little on the straight bits.

Wicked at last your Mazda tune Shaun for the La sarthe 700pp seasonal.24/07/14..this has been a tough cookie and for the tune... i've had to make a few changes for this seasonal...we have all had problems with the braking and then loosing control of the car which we know works fine on other tracks. i just worked out that with all the cars that has won on here for me they have had 00 camber..so i changed yours and it works really sweet and sticks to the racing line like glue...we have had to add ballast to all the cars and high turbo's...which was Chris idea with hekp from Pete... to the ones that didnt have them
and change brakes too.

power 100% ballast 30kg=695pp 986bhp..weight 860kg. LSD 8.8.16 and brakes 10 9. camber 00 00 and downforce 600 850. All other settings as above:)
i already had this car so it had an oil change....so numbers might be slightly different.
Thanks shaun for this wicked tune.:)

Glad it worked out for you. It's lightweight makes it's best points braking & cornering but in standard form isn't that powerful.
Solution: Big snail for straightline numbers.

Great tune for this car!👍👍. Now I can run this event in under 10 minutes. This is my grinding race now for my alternate account. I tried several different cars on this one but they were all 11 minutes and change. The Rocket with this set up is an enjoy to drive. Thanks again. So far your tunes have been spot on for me and have alowed me to gold 6 events so far. I don't understand how you do it:confused: but I am very glad that you are.👍👍
